This was a fantastic deal. The free light dinner was actually a very nice buffet. With breakfast and dinner included this was our most affordable night in all of Sweden. The town itself was very walkable but the only place in Sweden we didn’t feel safe. A women came out of the hostel near the waterfront and was viciously yelling at us but we didn’t understand her and thankfully she was on the other side of a fence. Lots of great walking paths. We were lucky parking was free on the weekends.

Stay was good. Just small issues with light besides the bed not working and small leakage in the bathroom sink at was reported in my check out. Place for meals is quite small, so even booking a time for breakfast and dinner it was a bit hard to find a place to sit. I had to ask for cofee in the morning and food at dinner to be refilled. Besides that room is clean, staff is very helpful and location is great.

The hotel offers generous eating options (for teatime, for dinner and for breakfast!): very tasty and welcome with Swedish restaurants being so expensive in general. I would not recommend a visit to Jonkoping if you are traveling by train or bus (you need a car to take advantage of the natural beauty around the town, which is not that exciting by itself).

They don't clean the rooms daily. (Not mentioned during check on) Had to specifically ask for the room to be cleaned. Also no table clearing in the restaurant. Wont recommend this . Not at all worth the price charged .

Definitely a special place. Very pleasant. There are closer hotels to the trIn station but the hospitality here is exceptional. They have free fika, free dinner and a wonderful breakfast. Service is exellent concerning everything.
