Room and hotel in general were spotless and very attractive. Breakfast was perfect, and the courtyard bar was absolutely beautiful. Staff were lovely and the location could not have been better. My stay was perfectly in line with my visit to Lund. Everything about it was perfect. Thank you.

Part of the hotel is newly opened in a newly renovated adjoining building. I never stayed there. I have stayed in the old building. It has a pub open every day. A large beer selection on tap and the selection of food is well prepared. The rooms are very different (different sizes mainly, which can be selected in expedia when reserving. Most furniture is old-style, like the rooms, (not modern) but gives a nice "atmosphere". Beds new and comfortable. A very few rooms are special with micro and fridge, best to ask hotel directly for those rooms if needed. Also at least one room has a very nice sauna. Bathrooms I have seen/used are quite new and modern all tiled. Location is excellent 200m from railway station (no noise from trains), next to many restaurants and the small center of town and some university buildings, and several museums are within walking distance others reachable by tram (100m away, pay by credit card). Tram line is recently opened just to provide access to University and some very big international science complexes north of town center.

The room was comfortable but no storage space I.e. no draws for clothes or bathroom cabinets. Also returned at 23.00 one night to find no one to help find our room as there was no direct access to our third floor room. Apart from these two minor grumbles it was good value for money and ideally placed with a more than satisfactory breakfast

We loved our stay at Hotel Bishops Arms Lund. The room was updated, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious with both hot and cold options.

Nice clean modern room, great bathroom. Only wish that the staff had showed the right way to the "new section" of the hotel so we could find our way to the room outside of the pub's opening hours. Had to call a service number several times before they answered, and eventually a security guard was sent to assist.

Very clean room, very comfortable bed. Suitably warm for winter (cold outside). Excellent breakfast. However fridge in room did not work. I know room ridges are not all that common in Europe, but almost standard in similar hotels in Europe and always in Japan. Entrance to hotel is very difficult with luggage, but I realize because of location in "old town" difficult to do anything about.

There is some construction, the hotel is expanding into an adjacent building. But not very bothersome. The rooms can be small and minimal but I opted for a large room with fridge and micro. NOt much more expensive than a room half the size. Bathroom was excellent, no bathtub but handheld shower and once could regulate water amount and temperature separately, that is if you closed the shower you could trivially restart it with the same temperature setting. Which I appreciate very much. Within walking distance to the old parts of the university and 100 meters from a tram leading to the large new areas of the University and the neutron spallation source. They also arranged a very excellent reception/dinner I had for 25 people.
