Hotel Söder

I really liked this hotel. It was very cozy and had a nice breakfast.

Excellent location, convenient to everything. Was surprised no breakfast on Sunday but otherwise great stay!

They were super helpful. They let me keep my luggage there way past checkout time while I walked around the city.

Good hotel

This is a small, family-run hotel, which made our stay feel nicely personal. Breakfast had many options, the neighborhood was walkable to the city center, and they stored our bags after checkout so we could still explore Stockholm on our last day. The room was tight, but the bed was comfortable. We had a nice stay and would stay again if we are in Stockholm again.

This little hotel is in a great location near a train stop, super comfortable, friendly employees. We let them know we were arriving after hours (since it’s unstaffed at night) and did not get a response through hotels.com after many tried and also calling. Hotels.com contacted them for me and I was told I’d get a door code the day before arrival. It didn’t come. I emailed directly to the hotel and was able to get it, finally, with an excuse that they didn’t have my correct number to text it. I gave them my number previously, but the real problem is that they will not respond to you through hotels.com like other hotels. If you are arriving after hours, this will be an issue as we weren’t the only ones. They give 2 sets of codes and then you see 3 key pads. It’s a bit confusing. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful place to stay.

Room was definitely smaller than expected (only a foot or two on either side of the bed) but breakfast and location were good

Small hotel and room but functional , walking distance to old town (20min). Nice breakfast and helpful staff . Great for 1-2 nights

Nearly didn't book this because of unfavourable reviews. Glad I did. Rooms are compact, but clean and thoughtfully designed. I was in 'Rum 3' single bed. Excellent as a base for solo travel. Communication via Expedia was not good, emailed a few times to confirm how to check in after 5pm when reception closes but no reply. Don't worry - let them know on booking and they will message you 24 hours before arrival with instructions. It's basically a key code for the main door and an activation code for your room door. Don't forget your room code as you need it to open your door every time. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Free tea and coffee and biscuits 24/7 from the machine. Will go back!

If you drive, pay attention to the parking options on the website prior to checking in.

It all started badly. We got to the hotel and there was no one to let us in. We only sneaked in as someone else was going out. When we got in, it was more than 10 minutes while we waited for someone to answer the phone and give us directions to get into our room. Not a great start. Then we were given a room with two single beds, not what we asked for. And finally...I realised that most other Hotels.com offerings give a photo of the rooms and this did not. Oh no. It was a good thing we did not bring our cat - no room to swing him around! A full length mirror it was impossible to stand in front. And all of the rooms are below ground, so little natural light. At least we were able to ascertain that no one could look in. So a bad start all around. After our initial impression things got better. While quite small, the room was tidy and very neat. The bathroom was ok as long as you are used to Scandinavian style which means no shower stall which allows water to go everywhere. Breakfasts were good and the staff very friendly but i will remember to steer clear of any hotels which do not offer photos of rooms.

You cannot have a better location than this hotel. Right in the middle of the bustling Södermalm area. We were pleasantly surprised by the included breakfast. It has quite a variety of options to choose from and lactose free options as well. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly. The room is small, but who comes to Stockholm to only stay in the room anyway. Thanks for the accommodation Hotel Söder.

The owner asked for my passport and bank card and said he will keep them in his possession until my departure from the hotel. I have never heard anything like this before. Everyone be careful. I left the place because I was not gonna hand out my documents to anyone to confiscate, and I asked for a refund. The onwer said it’s not his problem and expedia said they can’t do anything about it. So I’ve just been scammed out $91 and there’s nothing I can do about it.

The room was small and the bathroom floor was very cold but the location was perfect for a quick visit to Södermalm.

Mysigt och litet hotell. Perfekt om man bara behöver en plats att sova. Pyttelitet rum, men skön säng och fräscht badrum. Smidig incheckning och utcheckning. Enkelt att hämta tevatten och fylla vattenflaskan med filtrerat vatten i lobbyn/matsalen. Centralt men ändå väldigt lugnt läge på Söder.

Et fint lille hotel i en kælder. Dog var der alt for lidt plads.

Litet hotell med bra läge. Funkar men inte så mycket mer. Källarkänsla och trångt. Frukosten bra bara den fylls på vilket det gick sådär med.

Småskaligt och prisvärt hotell

Nära till allt på Söder så läget bra men rummen hemska i källare utan ventilation och brandfarligt då det inte fanns stege upp till dom små fönstren . Och oerhört hög volym från gatan med bilar och människor .Frukost nja knappt ok . Juice och yoghurt ljummet och knapert utbud . Trevlig personal kan jag ge hotellet och bra läge . Men kommer inte återkomma
