We had an amazing stay! Beautiful hotel location on the water! Not much to do for kids and we came as a family stay. The spa/pool is definitely on the spa side and less kid friendly. This is the perfect place to go for a romantic getaway! Love that so many walk around in robs to go to spa and relax. Wish we went for that so never ended up using the spa/pool. Will give us another reason to go this time without kids! Haha! Staff was Amazing! So friendly! Love the charm of the hotel too! We had a great stay!

Amazing place! So glad that I changed my booking for this hotel. It is at the same time sophisticated and family-oriented, country-style and historical, lost in nature but only 25 minutes from Kalmar, calm with a fully beautifully functioning SPA Strongly recommended!

I needed some quiet and comfort and got it.
Fabulous place to relax and prepare for next days job.
I always bring my running shoes, and the surroundings was very pleasant.
The "Reef" next to the hotel is worth visiting too.

Helt fantastisk, maden er absolut fremragende. Det ligger ude i en skov, helt ned til havet. Det er 2. Gang vi var der kommer helt sikkert igen.
Der mangler en knagerække på værelset, og der mangler at man kan lave kaffe på værelset.
Service er helt i top, og det hviler en dejlig ro over stedet.

Mycket trevligt mottagande med vänlig personal inom alla områden.
Det är en lung atmosfär inne och fina promenad stråk i området.
Vi var 3 vuxna i två-bäddsrum med X-tra säng och en stor hund, så det blev trångt. Ett plus att rummet låg nära trappan ut mot baksidan, lätt och snabbt att komma ut med hunden.
Härlig kväll på ert fina Spa där vi njöt i flera timmar.
Kvällsmenyn var fantastisk i smak o upplägg för två av oss, tonårsgrabben fick ta 2 huvudrätter för det gick inte beställa till någon form av potatis, för att få en lite rejälare måltid.
Det hade varit bra om det fanns någon basic rätt på menyn eller i baren, ex goda hemgjorda hamburgaren.
Vi besöker gärna Stufvenäs igen!

Allt var perfekt förutom en av servitör i restaurangen. En äldre man som var nästan otrevlig när han skulle visa oss till bordet. Sedan fortsatte han att vara snorkig och tvär resten av middagen. Maten var väldigt god men tog över en timme att få in, men det kompenserade hovmästaren med att dra av på priset.

Et overraskende stort sted med gode turforslag. Skønt med åben adgang til varm pool. Herfra havde vi udsigt til bryllup i vandkanten. Vi boede i den nye bygning med dejlig terrasse. Eneste minus var for blød madras. Vi spiste i restauranten, der blev betjent af uuddannet personale, som gjorde deres bedste. Vi var lidt forbløffede over anvendelsen af kompliceret målebæger ved opskænkning af vin. Maden var meget længe undervejs og alligevel halvkold, da vi fik den.

Trevlig personal. Tyvärr blev det något fel med antalet personer i bokningen, fast de fixade till det lätt och smidigt. God mat fick dock maten i fel ordning så det blev lite fel med vinet. Det var stora portioner i 5-rätters menyn, lite väl mycket, känns dumt att lämna.

Trevligt lantligt ställe. Allt egentligen toppen förutom att rummet inte hade AC ( vilket jag vet inte fanns) men däremot räknade jag med fungerande ventilation som kyler rummet. Med tanke på att rummet kostade 3500 natten så antog jag det. Vi sov knappt under 2nätter då det var minst 28 grader i rummet vilket inte är godkänt av folkhälsomyndigheten. Annars inga problem. Allt var toppen, härligt spa, fint läge, supergod mat, bra service vid vår middag på tisdagen den 16/8, tyvärr inleddes lunchen dagen efter då vi var ett sällskap på 6 pers inte lika trevligt, vi hade två frågor, kan vi sitta utomhus det kunde vi inte för det var för besvärligt att sätta ihop två bord, den andra frågan var vilket det vegetariska alternativet var då upplystes vi om att vi bokat tre vegetariska men det minsta man kan begära är väl att få veta maträtten? Det blev klart bättre efter en liten markering från vår sida. Det gör inte att helhetsintrycket blev sämre, men ändå lite tråkigt att en i personalen har den attityden ( det var en man i medelåldern).

Ej så hög klass på maten att det är befogat.
