Wonderful natural area, lovely hotel, good breakfast and nice and welcoming staff.

I’m surprised this is one of the most expensive hotels with a spa (spa not included) on the West coast, when the standard was so low. I don’t mind flaking paint, old dust etc when I pay a decent price but for 2500 SEK, I expect at least air condition. It was hard to even breathe in there. There were also workers outside of the room who were loud so it wasn’t very nice to have the windows fully open. We had asked for a king sized bed and were offered one for 500 sek extra, but when we got the room key we realized it was just two twin beds put together with a thin ”king size mattress” on top of them. That felt very shady to take 500 sek extra for. Never had that happen at any hotel before. The slippers for the spa were either so big you risked to break your ankle or so tight I got actual abrasions on your feet. I only had them on for a few minutes and decided to walk around bare foot cause of the pain but I still have big, red abrasions on both feet today (and I have size 39 eu shoes). Sorry for this Karen-review but I am really disappointed. The big plus about Vann was the restaurant and the staff working there, and the view of the lake.

Most likely, I well come back. And this is best recommendation for this Hotell

Great hotel for a short getaway located next to a peaceful fjord. The spa and restaurant areas are nicely renovated. Unfortunately, the rooms are much more basic and not at all upscale or spacious. Hotel is dog and family friendly.

We loved the spa at this hotel and the views from the spa /outdoor spa were beautiful. The only thing that let the hotel down were the bedrooms, they were very basic and no thought had really gone into their design. It's a shame as the rest of the hotel is lovely.

Great spa & outdoor pool. Tranquil beautiful setting

We stayed for 4 nights and booked initially only with breakfast. Overall: Most of the staff was nice. Our main reason to come - the Spa - was relaxing, even though you cannot expect to relax here during the "opening hours" for families with small children (?Before 11am? and between 15.30-17.30) Food: Breakfast was good! On the other hand, we cannot recommend dinner at all! We tried dinner only once (a la carte) - it was very noisy in the evening (felt like a Club Resort Hotel) and the food (Caesar Salad had very dry chicken - Staff did not handle complaint very well) was not worth its price. We would rather recommend you to have dinner outside of the hotel (e.g. Hunnebostrand or !Fjällbacka!). Moreover, cheap and good quality lunch can be found at Nordens Ark (combine it with the zoo!). Spa: Morning activities offered by the Spa (Yoga/Outdoor Activities) were very nice! Information about spa/breakfast/... was only available in Swedish. In the Sauna, people can be seen sitting in their bathing shorts without towels to cover the wooden benches, sometimes drinking tea or eating fruit! Consequently, all of the Saunas smelt like synthetics and were not pleasant to use. Room: Standard rooms, nice beds and no noises! Only unpleasant experience was, that we discovered some insects (centipede) twice in the bathroom! Other facilities: Vann has an outdoor fitness park, tennis courts, billiard and table tennis, and much more - If you want to stay all day in the hotel, you probably can!

Perfect stay with my daughter. Good food and nice staff. If something to complain over it is that the fireplace and some showers in the spa area was not working. Still we recommend a stay on Vann .

Rummet var bra, dock fanns det hår i sängen och fjärrkontroll till tv låg under täcket. kanske inte så fräscht.
