Nice place to stay

The staff was really nice and the breakfast area was quite with a beautiful scenery. However, this brings me back to a YMCA camp atmosphere where i had to share the bathroom with others. Please, don't get freaked out when you are in the shower and the sensor lights turn off on you. A little far from the bus stop, but manageable. However, coming back to the hotel, you are walking up hill so bring a water bottle for your exercise. I felt the staff was the jewels of this hotel site.

Stayed in a studio with shared bathroom (not sure how Expedia booked me for it as I had selected private bathroom option). Biggest issue was lack of transportation. Uber rides cost around 30 CHF for a 2 minute ride. The hotel is up a hill so not best to walk around with luggage - also has no elevator. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was lovely. So maybe this works best for travellers on a tight budget and travelling light.

Nice hotel , very nice staff

We had a great stay here. The room and hotel was very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is a bit far from transportation but otherwise it’s very quiet and nice area.

Lovely staff, beautiful location..

Hotel situated in a distant location with no public transport along hotel route in jungle area. If you use public transport to access to Interlaken town or train stations ( ost or west ), then you need to walk the way down 1.5km to the main road for a bus unless you can afford for a taxi on every trip. I strongly don't recommend this hotel as its not an ideal place to enjoy your stay. You will find it a burden instead of pleasure.

Nothing was great there.

The room was OK. It was old n had wooden floor. Our first night, the folks above us made too much noise...everytime they walk, you can hear in your room. In addition, The rooms do not have fans or AC. Not only that, our room was on the back side of the hotel by the highway. In order to keep the room cold n have some air circulation, we had to leave the windows open...but when we left the windows open, we could hear the sound of the traffic from the highway, so the very first night, whole family could not sleep at all. The next morning, explained the situation to a front desk lady named "Ursula" and she ensured that we at least get a fan in the room. Other nights were little better with the help of a fan. Ursula was very friendly and helped us a lot during our stay. Rest of Hotel staff was great. Awesome breakfast in the morning as well. I am giving 3 star only because of our room condition n location in the hotel. The bathrooms are shared, but they are very neat and clean, so appreciate the hotel's staff for keeping them in great shape. If you are accustomed to most of European hotels (no fans/no AC) then you will be fine. I booked this hotel at the very last day before our trip, so guessing all the rooms were gone. Hotel is not far from downtown Interlaken. Free parking at the hotel which was good.

Beautiful view of the mountains. Breakfast was yummy and also had a lovely view. Friendly staff.

The hotel is old but some parts are renovated. Toilets and baths are shared. Location is 4min, by car, from city center. Stunning view.

Hi I am Dharma Raj Acharya from Nepal ,We have stayed in this hotel from 28th June to 30th June , staff were so friendly, I love it ,specially Rocco , he wrote a sweet message also for our early checking and packed the take away breakfast.my family really touched with the Swiss style host . Specially the written message. Love it ,definitely I’m coming back soon

Beautiful area, unfortunately, during our first nigh a picture fell on my son’s bed. Nobody came to fix it after my request. They served all cheese during breakfast, my son got sick because of that. Don’t recommend it.
