We stayed at the Eringer Hotel over New Year for three nights. As first-time visitors to Switzerland, we were aiming for relaxation and sightseeing. While the stunning panoramic views from our top-floor room were the trip highlights, the stay was marred by poor communication and disorganised operations. The hotel offers breathtaking mountain views, with magical sunrises and snowy landscapes. Spa access is included (one voucher per person per day). Evening visits were more enjoyable due to fewer crowds. Transport Challenges: Getting to the hotel is difficult. Buses (routes 371/372) from Sion run infrequently (up to 2-hour waits). Free bus passes through the host card are limited to the local area (Thyon 2000) and don’t cover trips to Sion, creating confusion as this wasn’t explained anywhere. Remote location. Lack of Communication: No pre-arrival information was provided. Key details (menus & spa rules) weren’t shared at check-in, and most information is in French. Guests must scan a QR code to access details, but we were not prompted to do so. Spa Issues: The public spa can be overcrowded. No lockers made available to hotel guests and towels costing CHF 5. One entry per day is allowed. Food: Breakfast is basic with limited options, and spa restaurant meals were overpriced and poor quality. Tips: Check transport schedules in advance, don’t rely on Google Map. Pack snacks to avoid overpriced foods. Breathtaking views, but the service may frustrate first-time visitors.

Nous avons séjourné en février 2025 durant 3 nuits. A notre arrivée l'employé nous a dit que nous n'avions pas encore payé (à tord) et à effectué une manipulation sur son terminal de payement, qui à ensuite sorti un reçu. Nous avons cru que l'on avait été débité 2 fois. Après contact avec Hotels.com, la situation a pu être éclaircie. Cette manipulation est normale mais n'aurait pas du être effectuée devant les clients. On ne nous a pas expliqué comment se rendre au local à ski, ni aux pistes, ni au petit-déjeuner, ni au restaurant. On ne nous a pas proposé un chariot pour monter nos affaires dans notre chambre (il faut prendre 2 ascenseurs différents depuis le parking pour aller aux chambres et/ou au local à ski) alors qu'on en a vu plus tard durant notre séjour. Les cartes d'accès à la chambre et au local à ski ne fonctionnaient pas, nous avons du passer à la réception plusieurs fois pour pouvoir ouvrir la chambre et le local à ski. 1 des 3 chiffres du numéro de chambre était manquant à notre arrivé, puis il a été écrit grossièrement au stylo sur le mur. Les plinthes du couloir ne tenaient pas et étaient couchées sur la moquette. Le spa n'est pas inclus dans le prix de la chambre et était sur-occupé (nous avons eu de la peine à trouver un casier). Nous nous attendons pas à ces problèmes lorsque l'on réserve un 4 étoiles. Cependant, la vue depuis la chambre est superbe et la chambre était très bien. Le petit-déjeuner est top, pleins de choix sucré ou salé et de la région.

Mooi hotel, enkel heel jammer dat er niet vermeld stond dat het zwembadencomplex een additionele kost van 40€ p.p. met zich mee bracht… de dame aan de receptie was ook helemaal niet vriendelijk toen we dit hebben aangekaart.

Die Lage und Aussicht sind Traumhaft. Auch die Anlage ist sehr schön. Leider fehlt es ein bisschen an den Details. Keine Infos über das Hotel, die Restaurants und das WIFI auf dem Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist leider nicht sehr befriending und sogar für Eier beim Frühstück muss man noch extra bezahlen. Das SPA ist nich zu empfehlen, wenn man eine Auszeit wünscht. Es war zu überfüllt und es hatte sehr wenig Liegefläche zur Vergügung. Sowie als Gast muss man noch 40 Fr. Pro Person/Tag bezahlen.

Les chambres trop petites, un seul siège, température trop élevée et non règlable. Le bruit de la terrasse. Pas d'informations ni dans la chambre et trop peu à l'accueil. Mauvais oreiller.Pas assez de lumière en chambre. Manquait un goûter avec cakes ou autre pour l'après-ski, payant ou non. Belle chambre, matelas très confortable, personnel très sympatique et serviable. Très pratique pour louer les skis et partir directement sur les pistes. Les bains aussi super, dommage que les poum-poum de la terrasse sonnent dans la salle de repos... Super petit déjeuner.

Rapport qualité-prix décevant de manière générale. Nous recommandons d’éviter le restaurant et le petit-déjeuner. Le choix est pauvre et la qualité très moyenne. Le personnel est gentil mais pas formé, ce qui engendre de multiples erreurs (purée à la place de la soupe, steak cuit à point sans avoir demandé, nettoyage du comptoire à la place de donner l’addition demandée, etc.)

L'hôtel en lui-même est un très bel hôtel, de beaux matériaux sont utilisés, la situation est idéale pour aller skier. Cependant, il est toujours en travaux, ce qui donne une très mauvaise impression entre le parking et l'hôtel car tout est sale et rien n'est fini. De plus, certains services indiqués sur leur site internet ne correspondaient pas aux services réels, tels que le service de chambre qui n'existe pas ainsi que le parking "gratuit" qui est facturé 20 francs.

Great hotel, pretty new installations and staff is incredibly friendly and supportive. We stayed for the weekend and had a great time. Dinner was amazing both nights and the breakfast covered all our needs and more. The room is small but comfy and out dog could be with us in all facilities, which is a plus. Happy to recommend this hotel.

Superbe séjour de 4 jours! Une vue imprenable depuis la chambre sur les sommets et la magnifique Dent Blanche. Parfait emplacement pour skier avec la piste qui arrive directement jusqu’à l’hôtel. Le personnel est attentionné et chaleureux, et le lobby confortable. Le restaurant est sympa et on y mange bien. Vivement l’ouverture du Spa Thermal!
