Reception staff came quickly and was friendly and helpful.
Tight car parking, but very close.
Nice restaurant attached with live music and chef who showed us proper way to eat some Ukranian dishes.
Greet street car access to various sites.
Our std double room had a small, but very workable bathroom. Our window opened into a building filled court yard.

The commode, bathroom door and shower were broken... when I pointed it out they said they would give me extra towels to clean up the pool of water on floor from the broken commode and shower.

The elevator was not large, but they can help you with the luggage. The front desk is very helpful in directions and they provide Basel card for the duration of the trip- which is a pleasant surprise (allowing you all the public transportation for free in the city)

They gave me a room for 4 people when I am alone and charged CDN353 per night.
No bath soap, no shampoo, only hand soap, small towels,
unhelpful reception staff.

Good hotel particularly for a family group, room had 2 separate adjoining bedrooms.
It was a bit dated but fine for our stay. Lift is very small only room for 2 people with cases.

No air conditioning! One little fan, not nearly enough for hot humid nights! European so no wash cloths and maid service once a week! Also I am allergic to down and the only pillows they had were down. Sick the next morning, put the pillows in the closet opened all the windows and put the little fan on but they came in turned it off and closed the windows! My fault for not realizing there was no AC but only having down pillows was pretty un believable and unpleasant. Had to roll up an extra blanket to use as a pillow….
