Very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable breakfast but no hot food. The hotel is clean, comfortable and in good condition, though the bed base bit worn out. Overall would recommend this hotel which is 18 minutes away in the train from Lucern. Conveniently next to the train station.

We stayed in room 209, which was perfect for our family of four. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. Large windows filled the room with natural light, enhancing the open and airy feel.
The view from our room was truly breathtaking. Overlooking the mountains, it offered a serene and picturesque backdrop that made our stay even more memorable.

We had a great time staying at AVA hotel and our room which was a junior suite had plenty of space and Yvonne was wonderful and very helpful. The only things that we recommend to add are first and foremost air conditioning which is lacking in most properties in Switzerland and as the temperatures are constantly getting warmer it is becoming a necessity and not a luxury. Secondly it would be great to have the option of having a small refrigerator in the rooms. We bought a lot of great Swiss chocolate and fortunately Yvonne accommodated us by keeping them in the main refrigerator to keep them from melting.

It was bad because I discovered there is no door for the bathroom & when I told the receipt ion about it they act normal & they didn't even offer me other room or discount on the night I spent there and I spent the night because I had late check in

Nice modern hotel with just a few steps away from the train station, Sempach.
I wasn't bothered by the noise reported and didn't have any bad experience from sleeping.
Only small issue was the hotel was full and I was given a handicapped room, which meant no frosted glass or partition for the toilet and bathroom. This meant having to draw the curtains most of the time for privacy, which is a waste, as the room had great sunlight.

Okay for one night. Quite pricey. There was no air conditioning in the room unfortunately (although we knew about it beforehand), but thankfully there was a fan. Plenty of choices at breakfast.
