The stay was wonderful.the restaurant and lounge magnificent. Unfortunately we couldn't use the pool as there was a thunderstorm.the views and the walks by the lake make staying in this property a true privilege

Very disappointed with the breakfast and the staff. One of our party has to follow a gluten free diet and with limited offerings available for breakfast, asked for an omelette. Despite being charged a high sum of CHF26, we were told an omelette would incur an additional charge so we took breakfast elsewhere for CHF20, including an omelette. This is not the way to treat a guest and we would recommend Coeliac sufferers look elsewhere for their accommodation where the "rules" and staff can be more accommodating.

The hotel is gorgeous and the staff is amazing! Dianna at the front desk was so warm and welcoming and Susana in the breakfast room made every morning sweeter- she is a delight. The only reason it wasn't five stars is because there is no air conditioning and unfortunately with the windows open the road noise starts early at 6:00 a.m.. If you don't come in the summer, then perhaps that is a non-issue. The location is fantastic (next to a mall and both Migros and Coop within 5min walk and you have access a few steps away to enter the lake which was glorious everyday. The pool is quite small but nice to have.

A beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The staff were incredible and could not be more friendly or helpful. My room was utterly exquisite- an interior of my dreams with a balcony overlooking the magical Lake! Scrupulously clean, good food and the best place I’ve stayed in a while! Thank you

Beautiful spacious room overlooking the lake. Staff courteous and helpful. We ended up eat at the hotel restaurant all three nights because food excellent and outdoor setting on lake terrific.

Note Expedia defaults to rooms at back of property which when we stayed were very noisy late at night with people and cars until the early hours. Lakeside rooms were available but significantly more. Just remember to factor that in when making your choice.

They don’t provide coffee machine and electric kettle in the room. One of day, we arrived a bit late in the morning, and most of the breakfast items were almost gone. We asked the staff if they could refill some of the food, but they said there was nothing left. It was a little disappointment. We had questions and asked at the front desk, the staff responded rather coldly, which didn’t feel very friendly or welcoming.

Love everything especially the staff. The manager was very helpful and went out of his way to upgrade our room. So thankful for that cause it made my 1 night stay in Montreux very relaxing and memorable. Breakfast was good with very beautiful view of the lake.. perfect location too..

A beautiful old world style and very ornate looking hotel.great staff and very clean...a room at the front is a must to overlook lake Geneva,as the rooms at the back looks out onto a office block,and that road is noisy.you can park outside cannot comment on the breakfast as we went out for it,but the breakfast room is gorgeous. Their is also a restaurant for evening meals on a lower ground level. Beds are very comfortable, a fantastic stay overall.

Breakfast was very poor value for money @ CHF26. Plenty of items available but the ‘hot’ food was lukewarm at best. Expected better for approx £25…but that’s Switzerland pricing, I suppose
