The room was very comfortable and clean, Bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, and the restaurant was outstanding. The location was incredible -- you are right by the train station and in the middle of all the action. Can't say enough good things about Hotel Kreuz & Post. Highly recommend and will be back!

Our recent two-day stay at this fantastic hotel was truly unforgettable. Nestled conveniently close to major transport links and the main town area, it made getting around incredibly easy. Despite its central location, the hotel offered a serene breathtaking views.
We stayed in a spacious loft-style room that featured a private balcony overlooking the majestic Eiger. The unobstructed views of the rolling hills and towering peaks were absolutely mesmerizing, especially from the high vantage point of our room. It was a perfect spot to unwind and soak in the natural beauty.
While parking was a bit challenging, the hotel provided a designated lot and a convenient area for loading and unloading, which effectively minimized any hassle.
Overall, our experience was exceptional. The combination of spectacular scenery, comfortable accommodations, and prime location left us very happy with our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the best views and easy access to local attractions.

The location was incredibly convenient—just steps from the train station and within easy walking distance to restaurants and gondolas. Our room was fantastic: a spacious duplex with 1.5 bathrooms and a stunning view, which made our stay both fun and comfortable.
However, the elevator and hallway were quite narrow, which made it a bit tricky to maneuver our stroller and luggage. As for breakfast, it was decent, though nothing particularly memorable.

We picked this hotel in part because it said it has air conditioning. We found out it only has it in two super expensive rooms. I find that to be very dishonest. They said ...who said we have AC? Only all the hotel sites in the general information section and your own online answers about the property

The property is lovely and staff are extremely helpful! The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The single room I was in was not as updated at the one pictured here on Expedia, but it was still nice. There wasn’t air conditioning and I was on the 4th floor during their “heat wave” in August, so it was hot when trying to sleep at night. I did finally think to ask the front desk for a fan on the third night, and thankfully they provided a nice Dyson oscillating fan, which helped. The complimentary breakfast each morning has many fabulous options, which was much appreciated. Note, they don’t typically use ice in Switzerland, so there aren’t ice machines, therefore you must request ice from the restaurant when it is open.

Really enjoyed staying here. The rooms are small - but that is pretty typical in Europe. It was a little hot since we came during a heatwave and it does not have air conditioning, but the evenings were cool, and we could leave the patio door open for relief. It does get a little noisy in the early morning because that's when traffic starts to pick up.
It is conveniently located right across the street from the train station.
The 2nd floor restaurant was great - breakfast (buffet) was included, and we ate on the beautiful patio every morning. Breakfast was good and had all that you expect (fruit, cheese, meats, eggs, pancakes, etc.). Including rice and miso soup with tofu for Asian guests, I assume. We also had dinner there one night, and it was very good. My wife says the steak with chimichurri was the best she's ever had. And she's not a meat-eater.
