Hotel was very nice, had an elegant feel to it. Breakfast buffet in the morning was great, lots of options. Staff was very helpful, there’s also a food delivery system that runs till like 12am so that was convenient, especially sense everything closes at 7pm. Would NOT. Recommend going to their wellness room, we wanted to try out the saunas after skiing but let’s just say it was a shock, for some outrageous reasons they have signs saying no swimsuits allowed in the wellness room, basically encouraging us to just walk around butt ass naked… as an American this was SO GROSS. We walked in not knowing and immodestly saw a grown man’s private part, DISGUSTING! They should have signs for adults only or something if i was here with my family and took my kids i would be LIVID. Sounds like a liability waiting to happen…. Not sure how anyone can relax and enjoy a sauna when you’re in a room with people naked and not covered up. Location was good, a little bit away from the main part of town, but honestly better cuz we were close to the bus stop and walking distance to the Lyfts to ski. Also there’s lots of restaurants near with great food!

The hotel was very expensive for what it was. The rooms were nice but in need of some modernisation, especially the bathrooms. It also irked me that all of the decent facilities were in the sister hotel which we’d have rather stayed at. The staff were all lovely but some of the information we were given turned out to be wrong and when we had an issue with a private taxi they had booked for us they weren’t helpful at all. The also didn’t tell us that there would be works going on during our stay which included the table and chairs being removed from the lobby and the carpet being covered!

The towels and wash clothes were cheap and thin. The pillows were flat after one night. The breakfast staff appeared as if they didn’t want to be there. The front desk staff was there, but they weren’t very welcoming. Not that they were rude or mean, just not very welcoming. They don’t provide slippers or robes. The quality of the stay simply doesn’t reflect the costs. The town itself is very picturesque, but I would stay at another property should I decide to return. The best part of the stay was the view from my room. The hotel similar to other ones nearby seem to keep the history of the town intact which I thoroughly enjoyed seeing in the various rooms.
