Always stay here in Schaffhausen. Nice place with staff who make you welcome and the restaurant is good. Right out the back are forest trails to venture around.

Do no judge this hotel on the photos, very Outdated. Hotel is Ok but starting to look a little run down. Rooms are very compact. Staff very friendly but hotel lets it down. If your expecting to see horses, you'll be disappointed, as they have been gone for a number of years now and equipment and school not used for a long time. Food at the hotel is also very expensive even for Switzerland standards, so would recommend eating out. Parking is also limited at the hotel and on a first come basis.

The room was clean & comfortable but on the small side for me, could have paid more for a slightly larger room.
The staff were very good polite and attentive.
The food was basic for the price. I expect the cost to be higher in Switzerland but generally get quality food. (maybe due to coronavirus!!!). there was minimal social distancing no masks were worn by anyone except myself..

Clean and comfortable hotel that is connected to a horse riding arena. Hot weather conditions made for a challenging night for sleeping. No AC. We left our balcony door open all night for ventilation. A stand fan provided some air circulation. However, the adjacent room had smokers who smoked on their balcony and the smoke drifted into our.
We ate at hotel restaurant outside patio table. Outstanding brick oven pizza and friendly service.
Hotel is in the countryside outside of Schaffhausen.

The hotel is nice and clean. The room where we stayd was more an apparment with 2 rooms and beds for 5. The only issue with the hotel is the distance from the center of the town, otherwise, I just can only recommend it.

Straightforward with no issues. The hotel has a restaurant which is quite expensive but mostly in line with other Swiss eating places in and around Schaffhausen.
Breakfast is OK without being special.
Our room was in the shade so it never became too hot.
The staff were helpful and mostly spoke English.

My family & I stayed here one night for our wedding anniversary as we were going to an event at the Rhine Falls. We had one of the suites (2 bedrooms) and it was very comfy and clean. The hotel owner even drove us to the event at the Rhine falls as our taxi did not arrive on time. The hospitality we received from the owner & staff was the best we had received all holiday driving round France, Italy and then Switzerland. We will definitely come back to this hotel next time we visit Switzerland.
