Good service and exceptional Italian restaurant attached to the building complex. Not easy to see hotel entrance - door is down a corridor ( covered walkway dividing the restaurant from hotel accommodation). While rooms are a bit spartan the food and choice of wines is really worth the stay. And good value.

The hotel is clean, quiet, furniture outdated, you need a car if you intend to visit Fribourg. The breakfast is not included and I found it pricy (15.00 CH/person). There is seldom somebody at the registration desk, the entrance door is kept closed, so be prepared to be able to call when you arrive.

A decent hotel near Fribourg, about a 5 min drive from the train station, and there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. This is not a luxury hotel, there are no grand vistas or anything, but it is clean and comfortable, with a really nice breakfast buffet.
