Wonderful stay with outstanding concierge service I had a wonderful time at this property. The energy of the place is so welcoming, and the room itself was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The view was nice, though the “lake view” is a bit too far away to really enjoy from the room. Aside from that, everything was perfect. Check-in was smooth and they even accommodated me early, which I really appreciated. The highlight of my stay was Vince, the concierge. He was absolutely amazing, helpful with every question I had, especially about navigating to the Glacier Express and getting around the area. His magical personality made everything feel easy and memorable. Overall, a fantastic stay that I would definitely recommend!

Intercontinental is a beautiful hotel with very nice grounds. The only issue is that is a taxi ride from everything. You cannot simply walk around town and shop. You have to get in some kind of a transportation to get to all those areas.

A very important feeling hotel.

The staff made our honeymoon stay exceptional! Vincent, the concierge is such a pleasure and has a real passion for service. He provided us with detailed maps and recommendations for our outings. The breakfast buffet is unmatched and the service is attentive with additional menu offerings for no additional cost. Our room was modern, clean, and very comfortable with a view of the lake. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Really disappointed in our choice for the stay in Geneva. The property is severely outdated. The room we had on the 15th floor was like out of the 70s. It has not been remodeled in at least 30 years. The bathroom is cramped even for 1 person to be in there. All the fixtures - toilet sink, bath, lighting ceiling are ancient. Horrible claustrophobic feeling being in that bathroom really. We dreaded climbing into that bathtab and taking a shower. The water kept changing from hot to cold. Windows are old and we could hear outside noise even from 15th floor. The room is poorly designed, very uncomfortable bed, clunky position of furniture. Useless closet space and 2 hallways within the room. Their only restaurant is closed for dinner on Sundays! For a hotel this size and given there are limited dining options in the area - this is really bad. We had no options but to eat at the bar one night, as it was raining heavily. The food was very tasteless and more of a low-end diner level. The carpets in the bar area were old, stained and repulsive.for a 5-star hotel in Geneva - this was NOT it! It might've been a 5-star in 1964... Very underwhelming, disappointing and sad. It needs to be demolished and re-built. Also very far from the city center. Not much around.

Convenient

We spent our first night in Switzerland here afraid long flight the hotel is gorgeous, the service is wonderful and the restaurant is absolutely incredible! I highly recommend!

Exquisite and very nice food room service wise

I think what was unique, was the easygoing staff at the reception having the check in and room done by 10 am with no problems

The room was incredible. Very spacious and good amenities. Breakfast was very good too

I enjoyed the ability to take a bus so easily downtown. But I was not thrilled about my room. It seemed outdated with no charging capabilities near my bedside, and the big round table at the end was so out of place that it looked like it was put there as storage. The hallway of storage was excessive. How do you use so much space and make a room feel so cramped at the same time? Not a fan, especially when traveling for business and need of convenience in a room.

Beautiful lobby and good service. Room was tiny and maybe the worst shower I’ve ever been in. Might as well have been a room from 1983.

The hotel areas on the ground level are nice but the rooms are terrible. Old,lumpy bed, grubby, cheap small bathrooms. Such a disappointment. Poor location unless you want to go to the UN.

The hotel little bit tired however staff hospital was so good. I guess summer timing will be more fun with pool.
