Rivage Hotel Restaurant Lutry

the hotel is in a great location right in town…great staff…clean rooms…good beds…the only draw backs are no parking at the hotel…(there is parking near by just a few minutes walking distance)…but can drop off luggage…not wheelchair accessible…have to carry luggage up a few stairs to get into the hotel…would not recommend coming during the set up and event they have every year for the harvest…usually late september…the roads in town are usually blocked by tents etc…unless you are looking to party and have fun until 2 or 3 am :)…

This hotel was so charming and perfect for our stay. We had a very comfortable room, and a beautiful view of Lake Geneva, just across the walkway. The staff was very helpful and cheerful and we enjoyed sitting on the veranda every night. I would recommend Hotel Rivage to anyone staying in the area.

Quaint place in a busy lakefront town. Nice large apartment with large windows and partial lake view. Nice restaurant overlooking the marina. Advertises free parking, but there are only 5 spaces, so good luck with that. You'll probably end up at public paid parking 2 - 3 blocks from the hotel.

Only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars is that they had the elevator not working. I had a room in the 3rd floor so you can imagine carrying suitcases, strollers, etc. and no one to help.

`Terrible stay at a not cheap hotel....NO WiFi in the room (I thought that already finished even in 3rd world countries) and the A/C makes noise but no conditioning. Nothing is in English. Room condition is poor......

Beautiful views of Lake Leman(Geneva) and good restaurant selection within an easy walk. Also a nice bar where locals also frequent regularly.

Fantastic lake view in the city. Very clean and comfy room. However, the only down side of this place was in the early morning, around 8ish/9am you would definitely start to hear the cleaning lady puts on very loud music while cleaning and banging things next door. Very unpleasant if you are a late person and would love to just chill in the room a bit longer. I would suggest at least start the cleaning after the standard check out time, says 11. Otherwise it’s all well.

Lovely quiet hotel with a good restaurant extending onto the outdoor terrace. Lake view rooms are worthwhile. Modern in style & comfortable. Excellent breakfast. The staircase carpet could be replaced because it lets down the image on arrival. Parking is a problem if travelling by car. It is possible to park for a few minutes to drop cases but any car then needs to be parked in one of the nearby public car parks ( about 5 minutes walk away). If you arrive on a Friday it is best to do so in the late afternoon because thereafter parking can be difficult because of musical entertainment in Lutry.

Fabulous location on Lac Leman. Notable (though very pricey) hotel restaurant on terrace overlooking boat harbor and promenade. We could listen to the live Thursday and Friday night concerts from here. Friendly staff are helpful. Small elevator to reach upper floors. Double room very small but with good air conditioning and managed to find a place for all luggage using the tall, narrow cabinet provided with a safe and mini-fridge suitable for wine bottles of course. We asked for and received extra pillows. There is public parking near (less than 5-minute walk) from the hotel and a few spots along the hotel for a price, 9 Swiss francs for half the day and 16 for a day. It’s free after 8pm. You buy the parking passes to set on your dash-board at the reception. The only negative is the almost complete absence of Internet. They have it, but it takes an hour to get on and then cuts out constantly. We explained the situation and were given a WiFi repeater which really did nothing to resolve the issue. It made completing my work impossible. Perhaps the issue was confined to our room or our floor. We were not facing the water. Other than this, the hotel is a short walk to your left as you exit to the beach and a nice buvette with delicious food and view of the water. Another plus is that you can get a card with a clock on it from the reception desk for free to put in your car for the period from 7-8am if you are leaving around 8am or shortly thereafter to avoid paying parking.

The property is horrible, no a/c room small, Wi-Fi doesn't work good. Only outside the view is beautiful.

Marked down slightly because housekeeping were still cleaning our room when we arrived at 330pm and there was still some rubbish left there from previous guests. And because parking (at 16CHF a night) is an exemption to local parking rules rather than an actual space, so you might end up parking on the other side of town if the 5 spaces outside the building are full. Didn't try the restaurant or go for the breakfast after seeing the prices, but there are plenty of decent places to eat locally. Room was quiet despite being right over the restaurant, which was nice. Comfortable bed, nice to have a couple of chairs, bathroom was large enough and clean. No hair conditioner provided though! Worth paying a little extra for the lake view in my opinion, maybe the balcony upgrade with a long stay.

They had a coffee machine out in the hallway you could use they gave you one coffe insert. No tea nobody to help you bring in luggage I am retired and the manager just watched me come up the stairs struggling with my luggage. When I left one of the cleaning ladies saw me and came and helped me. I prayed over her and told her thank you. The best think about the property is the location!!!

Great location, big room with a comfortable bed. Hotel overall is a little bit old though. Public parking available nearby.

Perfect location, just 10 m from the water front, still accessible by car. public parking 100 m away. Very friendly staff: we forgot to book a bad for the kid so they offered it for free in a larger room. Morning view from the window on the lake is breath-taking.

It was great stay and the staff were great and so friendly.

Great hotel excellent value. No parking is a bit of a problem.
