Swissôtel Kursaal Bern

Very clean, large room with a very comfortable full king size bed. The staff were nice they helped to point me in the right direction. The hotel is just across the river from the old town. Just a quick walk across the bridge which is right there perfect location

Photos of the rooms were not accurate for our room. The casino and convention center didn’t help the ambiance. I don’t know that rooms were interior facing on a noisy food hall. Worse was that our room badly needed attention and touch up. Hand prints were clearly visible on the opaque glass door to the water closet and shower. Floors needed mopped. The walls were scuffed and damaged.

Staff was extremely helpful with clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was great with a variety of options to eat and drink. Parking was convenient

The hotel was nice enough and in a great location, but room was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in for a high end hotel. It was advertised as no view, which I assumed was a view of a parking lot or maybe another building. But beware no view means no window to the outside. I have never heard of such a thing. Plus the bed was against the wall so I had to climb over my husband to get in and out of bed, I felt like a child camping. It was claustrophobic ruined our stay. The shower leaked and we flooded the bathroom. I asked for a different room, but the hotel said they were sold out.

Great location, nice rooms, staff speak fluent English and are very helpful.

If I could rate the staff helpfulness higher than 5 stars, I WOULD! Everything else also deserves 5 stars.

Nice neighborhood. Good buffet brekfast.

Nice clean hotel. Close to centre. The only problem was there was a network outage issue on our first night. Meaning there were no internet, the car park gates didn’t work and the room keys went defunct.

Overall good property at decent location. Didn't like how dirty the tile in the bathroom floors was. Otherwise all was good with this stay
