Villmergen Swiss Quality Hotel

Very nice and comfortable hotel in a quiet location. There was a free secure underground parking. The breakfast was very good with a lot of options.

Impossible to sleep in the hotel with no AC as the room was a box. Front desk was rude

Good location, Lucerne is about an hour away. Nice staff. Clean rooms.

Friendly, professional staff. Good breakfast. Main problem with amenities is lack of air conditioning which was an issue during my summer stay. Overall a decent stay, reaonable value for money.

Very nice hotel near to the Hallwilersee

The hotel is pretty basic, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Front Desk is UNmanned on weekend! Advance requests in resaervation were NOT fulfilled. Guest room floor was filthy...could hear the dirt and stones beneath shoes while walking around. Pillows are lumpy. Church bells (every :15 minutes, and all night) kept us from sleeping. Cold breakfast buffet was very nice. But will not stay here again.

Great service... nice and clean hotel.. Lots of house flies and mosquitoes in the summer everywhere in the surrounding area.

Far from lucerne but good stay

Nice size room. Very comfortable bed. Extra choice of pillows upon request (aloe, visco, etc. I asked for two different kinds and my request was fulfilled even though it was already late at night). Gluten free bread upon request. Nice breakfast. Also enjoyed their El Toro restaurant for dinner, and the staff was very nice. Wonderful shower. Very nice amenities (nespresso machine with complimentary pods; big bottle of water, and more). Nice design for the room.Would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room. Little hanging space, but ample drawer space. 40 minutes outside Zurich and 40 minutes outside Luzern. Free parking either on the street in front, or in the hotel's garage. When the window was open, it was quite noisy from the highway, but when closed, you could barely hear any noise. TV with many channels. At 11.01 (checkout time is 11.00) the key no longer works, so don't count on being able to make an extra trip to your car, because you won't be able to come back up. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back if we need to be in this area.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. They have a very friendly staff and a simple but delicious breakfast. The rooms appear to have been recently redecorated they look new and clean. The hotel offers you a big bottle of sparkling water every day.
