Alishan B&B Yunmingi Aliscenery

Great service, peaceful and beautiful location.

Everything was excellent. Location, condition, super clean and amazing staff. Aliscenery is a modern building. Good standard all over. Good design and good taste. There are some beautiful walks, all well signed, just minutes walk from Aliscenery. The area is stunningly beautiful. The rooms has huge windows and it’s rather like a live tv right before your eyes. The scenery changes constantly with the sea of clouds moving throughout the day. Amazing. Aliscenery is right in a tea plantation. Super cool. The views here are much better than higher up in Alishan. Here you can see the views and are not in the middle of the forest. The team speak some English which made things easy. They helped arrange a taxi to collect us from Fenqihu. They also sent the walking route map to us my WhatsApp. Super helpful. The evening hotpot meal was very good. Good quality food and really fresh. We stayed 2 nights and loved it.

The location is fabulous. We can view the beautiful sunset in our room and on the roof top.

Everything was perfect!

I absolutely loved my stay at Aliscenery. The view was breathtaking. Ian from the front desk was extremely helpful during our stay and spoke English, which helped. I recommend our driver, Mr. Lin. The B&B will recommend a few drivers because haling a taxi or calling an uber is next to impossible in Alishan. Mr. Lin was attentive, courteous, and considerate. He didn’t speak much English but would use Google Translate and tell us about Alishan and places to see during our rides in Alishan. Aliscenery was clean and I liked that they served dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was included but you will need to make reservations for dinner before a certain time. I believe it was before 4 pm. Dinner was hotpot with a choice of either beef or pork. It was well worth it! You can do a free tea tasting experience. The tea leaves were harvested from their very own plantations. It was an amazing experience overall and I would recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Alishan.

best location, good breakfast, clean, good services, very helpful to visit the surrounding areas, not easy to get public transportation without own car, best view of the tea plantation.

Great mountain location about 45 minutes drive to Alishan National Recreation Area. Unique location among the tea farms. Excellent home cooked breakfast.

Very beautiful hotel and view. The looks of it is very relaxing. Very accomodating host. They pick me up in the Shizhou bus stop and drop me off the next day. There's a nearest tea plantation trail, sunset trail and sunrise trail. Hotpot dinner is great.

This was our 3rd stay at this property this year (in 4 months), and we drove 4 hours from Taipei to enjoy this piece of paradise, which we never got tired of! The property is now predictably good and feels like home now :-).

The scenery around the property is amazing. There are many tea garden trails in the adjacent areas that are excellent for hiking and exploring. Rooms are spacious and clean.

We were not made to feel welcome. Children were left out to play loudly outside of our room until about 8 pm in an area that seemed like the family compound. Not what we thought we reserved. A staff member did pick us up and drop us off promptly at the local bus stop which we appreciated.

Alishan B&B Yunmingi perched high on the hills and is in close vicinity to the regional scenic trail system. We stayed in the more historic part of the B&B and fully enjoyed the view and many unique high-altitude plants in the courtyard. The room, though historic, has been modernized with comfort and conveniences. The B&B runs like a well-managed hotel, with attention to details, but all the warmth and personal touches of a B&B. We loved it!

Our first stay first a B&B type accommodation in Taiwan. The location and the views from the property were what drew us there, and we were not disappointed. Service was great - nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

It was the perfect place to stay for Alishan. We stayed in the newer block. The rooms were new, spacious and very clean. They did not have central or room heating, but they had electric heated beds and heated bathrooms. Which made for very comfortable showers and sleep. We did not try their hotpot dinner, but you can order in advance if you prefer eating there instead of driving out 15 to 20 min in the mountains for your dinner. They also served Alishan Highlands Oolong Tea in the evening, which was wonderful. The tea was grown on-site, and as you enjoyed your tea you could chat with the staff to learn more about the area. Our room had a wonderful view of the surrounding tea plantations. I think most rooms have good views. We faced west, so we couldn’t see the sunrise from our room at dawn. Nevertheless, the colour of the morning sky, over the sea clouds, was beautiful. And we didn’t even have to step out of our room to enjoy it. I also went up to the rooftop balcony to get a better view. From the balcony, you can see the sun peeking over the mountains in the east as it rose higher in the sky. And enjoy the changing colours over the landscape. Service was also very good. They also showed us a 40min route to a better viewing area to catch the sunrise. But we didn’t wake up early enough to make the walk.

Amazing location. Amazing assistance with local transport to bus stop. Amazing location. They allow access to roof, with one of the best views of the area. Amazing views. It gets cold in winter but they do provide heated mattress liner. Amazing views.
