The hotel overall was pretty clean, so no complaints there. But once we got into the room, especially the bathroom and shower area, you could tell the place was quite old. The walls had some yellowish stains or marks, which made it feel a bit run-down. It wasn’t dirty, just dated — definitely gave off an older vibe that could use some updating.

Hotel seems quite new. Room is fairly spacious and beds are comfortable. Shower has good pressure and consistent temperature. Breakfast (vegetarian) spread is very good and tasty. Hotel has own car park sites just behind the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is great - walking distance to night market and several famous eateries. Will definitely stay here again if I come to Hualien

Pros: Front desk staff was very efficient, accommodating, and friendly. Breakfast had a lot of great options even though it was vegetarian. Location is very convenient and walkable to lots of shops/restaurants. We were in family room with 3 beds which was very nice option. Room felt old but rate was very good. Cons: couldn't open windows due to mosquitoes.

Great location and breakfast buffet! But the rooms were very dusty. It looked clean but my husband had bad immediate allergic reactions. Staff was helpful in trying to get us another room and give us an air purifier. But why is it so dusty in the first place?

I recently stayed at a fantastic hotel in Taiwan and had the pleasure of experiencing their traditional Taiwanese breakfast. It was truly outstanding! The spread of dishes was incredible, with a wide variety of both sweet and savory options to choose from. The highlight for me was the noodle station that lets you build your own noodle dishes, which were absolutely delicious. The rice porridge was also a standout, and I appreciated that they offered both savory and sweet options to cater to different tastes. The quality of the ingredients was clear, as everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. I was also impressed by the presentation of the dishes, with each one beautifully arranged on the plate. Overall, I was extremely impressed by the traditional Taiwanese breakfast at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience authentic local cuisine during their stay. It was truly a highlight of my trip and I can't wait to go back and enjoy it again.
