Four Points By Sheraton Penghu

The band in the Swave bar is quite bad…. And way too loud. I couldn’t bring myself to get a drink because it’d be pure torture.

All is very nice, we had a room with harbor view and enjoying balcony; all excellent except for breakfast, an amazing choice of chinese style items, all great but for north americans, which for sure are a very small minority, all "hot" items, such as eggs, omelets, ham, although under lamps, were served cold..... everything else is 5 stars!

A little expensive, but probably the best choice for Penghu. Staff were awesome and helped get several flowers for the room. Water view is worth every additional penny.

Shampoo, soap, other hair care amenity is not so good quality.

For an international hotel, the food was not accommodating to guests with restrictions. Many dishes were made with pork and it was insulting to have to explain. Language barrier was a problem as well. Breakfast buffet did not provide for the western traveller. The cost of traveling solo to order solo dishes in the Chinese restaurant was also a disappointment. Most meals were family style. Educating the staff of religious and dietary restrictions might be a good idea. I did not eat the last night because I could find anything suitable and it was a pain to have to explain again. The staff was courteous and friendly and tried to be helpful. Maybe a section in the menu Of standard items that’s reasonable might be looked at. I know of another family that had difficulty. French fried potatoes should stay vegetarian.., DO NOT PUT BACON IN TBE OIL. How about a veg egg omelet bar free of pork!! Fried rice and fried fish!! Thank you! I hope this was helpful.

Local tour services is unique. Barge to hotel and airport are good and the driver is hospitality and answer your questions.

This was our first visit to the Penghu Islands and we were very pleased with all aspects of our time on the island. The hotel has amazing facilities and perhaps the best breakfast of our two weeks in Taiwan. English is a little challenging since they get few visitors who speak English. Restaurant prices are much lower than throughout Taiwan but the quality was also somewhat less. We probably should of had all of our meals at the hotel. Price/ value of the Four Points is the best

Review of Four Points by Sheraton Penghu Pending review The Four Points in Penghu seems like the easy choice when you compare accommodation options on the island. However, they don't take that for granted. The rooms are perfectly updated using all the right materials, fixtures, and furniture, especially for a property right on the water. The views of the harbor are fun, especially very early in the morning when the fishing boats are pulling into the fishing wharf for the daily sell. The staff are so incredibly helpful and friendly. Tourism isn't a big thing on the island, yet, but the staff lead by example on the island at providing solid customer service. Would stay here time and time again whenever I visit Penghu.

Amazing views from all rooms. Nice big comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, and great service. The balconies allow views of the entire harbor.

The hotel is beautiful and the amenities are really great for families. Our son loved the play area! The rooms are really comfortable but unfortunately no bath tubs for the toddler. Breakfast buffet was below average: no egg station, just cold eggs under a warmer that didn’t keep the eggs warm. Fruit was a plenty and good though. Pool was nice.

Great hotel (especially for kids). Wonderful amenities, very clean, good breakfast. Not a lot within walking distance but that wasn’t a big deal. I’d highly recommend and would stay here again.

It’s a new hotel. Everything’s new. Hotel staffs are well trained. Will stay in the future.

It was great as always. To make it a perfect score, I think they need to update the toilet function as the flushing takes longer than normal time with weak water flow.

If you want to stay in a very good hotel close to the city then this is your only option. Very new and clean hotel which has everything you would expect to see in a 4+ star hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and despite there only being one or two who spoke good English, we have no complaints. Not really a "holiday hotel" but then this isn't really a holiday location!....

The room was spotless. The staffs were not only helpful but also amicable.
