Guide Hotel Kaoshiung Liuhe

If your looking for some place thats vibrant then this isnt the place. If you enjoy a quiet area then look no further. Our room was quiet dated. The sheets had some stains, the furniture was old and dingy. It was however, spacious.

While the hotel itself is mostly fine, there was an accumulation of small things that made it slightly inconvenient. For example, no power outlets near the bed or the bathroom, no ventilation in the bathroom, no hand soap, no room safe. There was also peeling wallpaper and mold in one corner of our room. The hallways were quite musty smelling and the carpets were visibly stained. The staff were friendly and the pool was nice, however.

Not a good experience here. We arrived a little earlier than check in and were told no one is allowed to check in until 3:00. There is electronic check in and at the front desk and it’s a bit mad. So many people at the same time trying to check in. The staff was not rude, but also not very nice. DO NOT get the breakfast if the hotel is full occupancy. We had to wait 15 minutes to be seated for breakfast. Never had that experience. I’ve stayed at 100’s of hotel all throughout Asia. There was very little selection for breakfast. The staff at the restaurant were nice. The room was alright. Horrible view of the other building next door. It’s in need of a remodel. The pool was OK, but they’re very strict with the time. Don’t go too late.

The breakfast was not that great.. selection was not well suited for north american selection. We could not even get scramble eggs. Juice was terrible and no consideration for food alergies.

The staffs are super friendly. However, the condition isn't that great. The swimming pool opens during the weekend only.

Well located hotel with decent breakfast. The facilities are very simple but enough if you aren't spending too much time at the hotel. The staff are friendly and speak decent English at the reception.

This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed out in all of Taiwan. The room was beautiful, the gym was a very impressive size for a hotel. Staff was excellent, and I loved my room

We had an overall experience acceptable. However, we chose this hotel because of its facilities (incl. swimming pool and gym). The gym is a museum and not a gym, most of the equipments are not working or are getting super old. Cleaning of the room shall also be improved as trash from the previous day are forgotten by the hotel cleaning service. No other bad comments to raise. Location is great and staff friendly.

Great pool! Room was spacious and clean, great view of the city. Front desk, especially Carol, was helpful and friendly, like a concierge and even a nurse! Hotel is close by the MRT station, and within a five minute walk from the Love River, night market, day market, etc. Great Tainan, Hakka, hotpot and even Italian restaurants close by too!

Room was nicely decorated and comfortable. About 10 mins walking to night market. Wall is too thin though as l can hear the people next door and above talking and closing doors.

in the twin bed room, there is only one seat for 2 persons. very inconvenient
