Holiday Inn Express TAICHUNG PARK by IHG, an IHG Hotel

recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. The hotel offers convenient access to both a Starbucks and a nearby mall, which was a nice bonus. The mall itself has a fantastic hot pot restaurant, perfect for a delicious meal. The hotel’s breakfast service was impressive, with long hours, making it easy to enjoy a relaxed morning meal. The laundry room only had one working washer during my stay, but since it wasn’t busy, it wasn’t an issue. I appreciated that the hotel provided detergent, and both the washer and dryer worked quickly and efficiently. My room was spacious and clean, offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely return.

This hotel is close to Rail station & bus terminal to Sun Moon Lake & other tourist area near TaiChung.

Location is near to train station and night market . Also close to miyahama optical shop for pick ups on klook . There is also a shopping outlet below the hotel

Convenient to the Taichung train station, tour buses to nearby attractions, several night markets. Very good breakfast with a mix of local and western fare.

Hotel is near Taichung Station. Walkable distance to few places like Lalaport. Room is decent but it's showing it's age.

Heavy amount of mold present in bathroom. Room was ok, manageable for a one night stay.

While this property is good value for money, it has no facilities. The area around the hotel is not great, especially at night.

Convenient location

The room is very comfy and clean. The staff are friendly and approachable. The location of the hotel is slightly far from the train station so would need to walk abit if you are going to the train station. It is close to a night market which is convenient.

Good location, best if you can get a room facing the park

Great location. It's by the beautiful Taichung Park and only takes a 1o-minute walk from the Taichung Train Station.

Reception staff were very friendly. They changed our rooms to another due to last customer check out late and room wasn’t ready. Only complain is that the rooms are facing shopping mall and needs curtain always closed to maintain privacy.

Although it is located opposite Taichung park , there are not many dining options around this area . It is a walkable 15mins to Yizhong night market . The breakfast is decently good . However the room lightning is very bright and not like a normal hotel
