Lan Hai Inn

Super super room. Big, well decorated, cold water in the fridge, clean, super comfortable, quiet quiet quiet. Room looks into the garden. And the seafood restaurant was very good. Abut pricey but worth every penny. Great staff.

If you dont mind saving $$$ while staying at a clean, spacious room, then Lan Hai is for you!! First, having a car is a must to stay at Lan Hai. This place was actually pretty ideal for my 2 night stay at Kenting, mainly because other places were twice as expensive and a lot noisier since they were located around the Kenting Night Market area (ie. Caesar, Howard, Chateau) But the experience overall was good. The room was extremely spacious and CLEAN, including the bathroom area!! For the price, I thought it was a very good bargain considering we had initially only planned on staying 1 night at a more expensive place. But after finding Lan Hai, staying 2 nights was much more ideal in order to experience all Kenting had to offer. *Due to the lack of a traditional entrance area, it was hard to find at first. You enter right into the parking lot area and the "front lobby" is actually located in the back of the property. Wally was extremely courteous and helpful. I unfortunately had two punctured tires driving around the area, but Wally was extremely helpful and assisted me in finding and contacting the local tire shop.

The room was large and clean, but what justify my 5 stars rating is the great staff (Wally especially). We were lost and we called the hotel. Then Wally (an hotel employee) took his car and came pick us up. You don't get this kind of service in a large hotel. In the morning we had breakfast with Wally's family (we insisted to talk to them, otherwise they would have leave us alone.) Loved it.

Owner Willy preppares delicious breakfast. Family owned seafood restaurant near to the hotel. Close to the ocean beach.

stay was excellent in this quiet and cosy environment. as i have a car to drive around, it is easy for me to move around to nearby beaches. defintely will recommend anyone who drive there and i will return again.

The inn is quite far from town. the hotel provides motorbike rental if you have a license. otherwise, there is a bike rental shop near by. it takes about 30-40 min to get to town on a bicycle. and there are quite a few stray dogs near by which will bark and maybe bite when approached....

A small family run hotel, clean and comfort, modern decoration, the hotel has a small garden, feel leisure. nearby by seafood restaurant and beach good for diving. 15 drive from Kenting main street.

Great service, hotel location is somewhat secluded but there are electrice scooters for rent and owner is ever ready to hire a taxi for you

It is a real holiday in Lanhai. Very spacious room, brand new facility, thick and soft towel, very comfortable and relaxing. With electric bike for hire, we have seen almost everything in Kenting, including the light house, the beach, the sunset..., and it is a much greater fun than going with a bus tour. The operators, Wally, his pregnant wife, brother, and parents, are very friendly and helpful. They run a sea food resturant next to the hotel as well, and the food there are very delicious and made with ingredients of very high quality. We love the breakfast in particular, great coffee, sandwich, burger..., and having it in a garden terrace! It is probably the only place we can find which offers western style breakfast in Kenting.

We really enjoyed our two nights stay. The staff are very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The Resort looks brand new and our room was new and clean looking. It is a little hard to find the place but it was nice and quiet in the evening as they don't really have any close neighbours. We would stay again.

We traveled with a group of friends and we had 4 rooms for 2 nights. All the rooms are beautifully decorated. They are very clean. The owner is very friendly and the service is excellent. We enjoyed our stay. We will stay at this resort again.

the host is polite and nice, the hotel is well decorated, the room is tidy and comfortable, the breakfast is healthy and tasty, the location is close to night market and seafood market, free parking, good wifi connection, last but not least the price is below average, a cool stay in kenting :) highly recommended!!

As soon as my cousin and I arrived, we were welcomed not as guests, but as friends. The owners were very helpful, they lent us electric scooters for very cheap, and they told us all the best places to go. They definitely made us feel at home. Our room was very clean and modern looking. This hotel is a little bit hard to find and is on the other side of the bay where kenting national park is, but we had no issues getting there with the electric scooters.
