Loosha Hostel

It is little difficult to find the place but it is in the regular kind of residual building. Once you find, staff is very nice. And my room is very reasonable. Breakfast free is also very nice. Highly recommended

Wow. What a place. Honestly there is not one thing that could be wrong here. Absolutely awesome

Stayed here for 2 nights Room 6012. My bed was the lower bunk, had a privacy curtain, a private light, a USB port, an electrical point and even a fold out desk that could easily accommodate a small laptop. I thought the mattress was thin, but it wasn’t too hard to sleep in. The pillow and duvet were large and comfortable. The bed also came with a locker large enough to fit even a large backpack. The shared bathroom/toilets were on the same floor as the room. These were unusual by Asian standards as it was for boys and girls, although everything had a door, except for the sink and dressing table area. The latter was mainly used by the girls. The bathroom, toilets, room, bed and common areas were fantastically clean. The reception area is also the common and dining area. It superb for meeting and talking with other guests. Location wise, the hotel is perfectly located close to Taichung Main Station only 5-10 minutes walk away and buses to everything of interest are close by. Just like everywhere in Taiwan, there is an endless choice of restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area. Overall, I had an awesome stay. The staff are friendly, welcoming and are a fantastic source of information about things to do and places to eat. The hostel has a wonderful atmosphere with common areas having plenty of chairs, sofas, games and TV to let guests socialise. I would happily recommend to anyone looking for a great hostel to stay in Taichung.
