This hotel is beautiful in the most amazing location. The hotel is clean , staff amazing great food and great pool area. Highly recommend Z Hotel also great spa recommend massage had to have two as they were so great and very affordable. Will definitely return

Would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed at Z2 but frequently used the facilities at Z hotel as well. Staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Room was lovely and clean, food all round at all the restaurants was amazing! Best meals we had across our holiday.

Pros: Rooms are very clean and A/C keeps room very cool. Very good spot, close to most thing in town. Pools are really nice. Cons: Long stairs, no elevators. My “pool view balcony” overlooked an ugly rooftop of the restaurant. The restaurant staff was extremely slow, I had to get up and bring things myself after asking multiple times. Access to the beach requires walking out of the hotel and going into a long tight driveway where taxi drivers drove way too fast in and we had to squeeze ourselves between trees. The spa staff was pretty much just sitting around on the couch when we entered but they said they were too busy to take us. Although the security did a good job keeping loitering away from guests, it was very annoying sitting by or going to the beach. Shower is too small for the bathroom, needs to be either bigger or a door needs to be added, since every time we took a shower half of the bathroom floor got wet.

The location is amazing and the food at the Chinammon was delicious; however, I can’t recommend this resort based on the horrible internet service, annoying beach boys trying to sell you stuff on the private beach, and the brief, intermittent power outages throughout the day.

Pros: gym facility, free breakfast, reasonable hotel restaurants and room service. House keeping is excellent, okay wifi, decent AC unit, the beach is beautiful, but VERY BUSY AND NOISY.
Cons: the power went out maybe 5x a day, morning and night. The beach isn't private, so there will be A LOT of sellers walking up to you and unfortunately you will be harassed constantly. I made friends with one of the Masai beach boys, but that doesn't stop others from walking up to you every few minutes. The security does their best, but sometimes the beach boys even sneak into the hotel grounds at night.

This hotel had absolutely everything I could ask for! My only comment would be to make the distinction between Z and Z2 a bit clearer so travelers know exactly what they’re booking. Otherwise, everything was perfect. The staff were outstanding—friendly, professional, and always eager to help. The private beach with access to the public beach offered the best of both worlds, and the on-site restaurants were amazing with delicious menus. Breakfast was convenient and definitely worth it, though you can also order from a menu if you’d like something different. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The entire property is truly out of this world. 10/10 highly recommend!

We stayed in the Z-Suite and it was absolutely amazing. I think it was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. The gym was better equipped than any hotel gym I've seen, the spa treatments were lovely and reasonably priced, and we enjoyed all 3 restaurants. It is centrally located in Nungwi and there is lots to explore in the area (note that this is about 1.5 hour drive from airport). Whoever decorated this hotel should get an award, as the attention to detail from the lamps to the artwork to the wallpaper was impeccable.

The hotel tours team v high std and good value for Dhow and snorklong trips. Spa appraently good but disaapintingly hard to book.

10/10 OMG literally the best resort I have ever visited! Everything is top tier, the level of customer service and attention to detail is unreal. Worth every penny! I will surely be back and recommend to anyone visiting Zanzibar :)
