Great room and location. Very friendly staff. Excellent pools. More fruit at breakfast would have been good considering all the tropical fruit available, otherwise good.

Convient spot! Loved our little villas the space was perfect for our 5 day stay.

I was actually surprised how just great this place was - exceeded my expectations. The rear of the property feels a bit “big-hotel-y”, with “ large two storey blocks of rooms built around pools. Which may suit some, but is not my thing personally. But luckily the front half, including where the Villa Suites I stayed in are located, is much nicer - open & spacious, low-rise, beautiful tropical gardens. The staff are terrific - better than even the typically high standard in Thailand. Pattaya Beach here, and to the west, is lovely. It goes downhill as you go east from here. The only constructive criticisms I can make are: The hotel wastes / really should make better use of its beachfront. It’s covered in tables - that no one uses during the day - rather than sun beds and similar. Put sunbeds on the beach during the day, swap for tables in the evening, and it would be so much better. Food & drink prices are pretty outrageous unfortunately, even by the standards of higher end places on Lipe. This does leave a bit of a sour taste. More lights in the bathroom, particularly around the mirror, would be appreciated (the simple fact I’m listing this shows how little there is to criticise, though!).

Akira Resort's staff, the grounds, the room including the bed were all excellent. it was truly a pleasure to stay there.

We had some rude Chinese guests that kept coming to our pool perch. The hotel helped us changed rooms which was better. Unfortunately they were still loud in the private areas of the pool. Maybe the hotel staff can help enforce quiet zone areas more. Overall we loved the island & hotel. Staff very nice!

What a beautiful place to stay! The staff, location and accommodation were excellent. We stayed in a pool access room. It was luxuriously huge and having the access to the extensive pool network, you rarely saw another person. Food at the restaurant was top quality and the 4-8pm buy 1 get 1 cocktails were lovely. The grounds are a tropical paradise and they look after your ferry transfers inward and outward. Thank you to the team!

Everything from check in to check out was a great experience. The staff is so nice and accommodating and I really enjoyed staying here with my daughter. Thank you Akira Lipe!!!

Excellent option for a first visit to the island. Very conveniently located - close to the pier and walking street. Nice and comfortable room; very clean and well maintained. Amenities are good: 3 swimming pools, a pool bar, restaurant with sea view. Breakfast was varied and included tasty options.

Very lovely staff and great location.

Only an overnight stay just to get a taste of Koh Lipe and we look forward to coming back for sure! Resort is so lovely and welcoming!

Lovely hotel. Slightly expensive. Great staff. Was only let down by their policy of inspecting your room before checkout. We were charged around £30 for a plate we accidentally broke. This seemed excessive and should have been treated as normal ware and tair. Not had this at any other hotel i have stayed at - so please beware.

Overall a good stay. I was promised a check in at 2 pm, but could only enter my room at 2.30 pm. I arrived at the hotel at 12 pm, so there should’ve been enough time to prep the room.

部屋も綺麗でスタッフも素晴らしいのに、下水道の匂いが酷くバスルームに入るときには鼻で息ができなかった。リセプションに相談したら「ディープクリーンをする」との事だったが何も変わらず。朝食は美味しいし他に申し分ないのに、本当に残念だった。東南アジアではしょうがないのかな…

Finally, a perfect holiday! Such a beautiful place. The resort is lovely. The staff were lovely. The food great. The location is just wow. Sure, it’s not easy to get to, but that just made it feel even more special. Even at the busiest times it didn’t feel crowded. We’re already planning to go back.

Location and swimming pools are two of the best features I like about AKIRA. The room interior is also wonderful, not to mention the excellent staffs.
