Baan Khao Sok Resort

Rustic style tree house room with fuĺl bathroom and nice views over a beautiful garden. We took the airconditioned one but it wasn't necessary as the evenings where cool and nice. 10 minute walk to bars, restaurants and tour office operators. Overall a great stay in a very quiet and unique place with helpful and smily staff, including the property owners.

I booked and confirmed an air conditioned room in December but when we arrived there were none available. The compensation was free breakfast. The room without AC was extremely HOT.

This is a fantastic quiet property in the jungle with extremely friendly owners who speak English and go out of their way to be helpful. Terrific food and quiet restaurant on the river bank with monkeys.

The property was tranquil just a short distance from the NP gates. The location beside the river afforded the most amazing wildlife spotting whilst having breakfast. Food was overall amazing but breakfast limited.

We stayed at Baan Khao Sok for 3 nights in one of their bungalows. The accommodation was basic but comfortable. It is in rural Thailand so you adjust your expectations accordingly I would say. Our bungalow had a small balcony and was big enough for the two of us. The shower pressure wasn’t great but it did the job. The bathroom was basic, with a shower head on the wall above a tiled floor and the toilet next to you. The beds came with mosquito nets and blankets and were comfortable. The build of the bungalow meant it was well ventilated and there was a wall mounted fan facing the beds. We paid a very low price because it was the middle of wet season and felt we got great value. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The owners spoke good English.

We only stayed here for 1 night and it was just OK. The room was quite spacious with 2 single beds and ensuite. It is, as you would suspect, very basic with the bathroom being practically outside, including some rather misplaced rocks which were randomly spread accros the bathroom floor. It was however quite clean, although there were quite a few mosquitos present due to the openings around the ceiling.

Had such a lovely stay at the Baan Khao Sok Resort. The staff cannot do enough for you, the rooms were spotless and the food was excellent. Would recommend this resort to anytime traveling to Khao Sok.

Awesome resort! Located in a beautiful setting off the road and right on the river. The resort is beautiful, the treehouse rooms are very nice. We were surprised by how big our room was and how clean and comfortable it was. The owners are very helpful and great people. Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone.

Room looked well and balcony is nice. Shower is outside. Staff didn't have much English but they were nice and friendly. Room is 7 min walk from main road. Very quiet resort.

I was greeted with a warm welcome and a cold drink at this idyllic collection of tree houses by the river. The staff were very helpful with advice for walks, day trips and onward transport. The restaurant provided delicious food and was very popular. The room was clean and well presented with large comfortable bed and hot shower.

Lovely stay. Very helpful family owners, will organise any tour, often more personalised than bigger tour groups. The restaurant also run by the same family, food excellent and very reasonably priced.

First time staying, unique experience. Need upgrading in the bathroom facilities (flow of water is slow). Great resturant and good food.

We had an absolutely wonderful few days in Khao Sok whilst staying on a tree house here. The service was fantastic and the food was out of this world. I would thoroughly recommend this resort for any type of stay as the lovely family and team running the place are incredibly knowledgeable and accomodating.

Great location and nice staff. Bungalow stay was fine for two nights. Food was good at the restaurant and the prices were similar to those in the village. If you arrive via bus or minivan, you can call their phone number which is listed on a big sign near the highway entrance for a free ride to the resort. Also received a free ride back to the highway. I booked the one day lake trip through the resort. Highly recommend this trip (1500B). Would certainly stay here again.

It an amazing setting. Amazing natural surroundings. The river is beautiful, great to swim in and you'll see all kinds of things just sitting beside it. The family owners are awesome. Very welcoming. I'd recommend this place again and again.

Great host very knowledgeable rustic cabins but it's a tree house so what do you expect

The original Thai bungalows look a little worn from the tropical climate but inside was clean with very comfortable bed and pillows and good nets. This is a family run place where the owners speak excellent English and can advise on travel around the area and onwards.Very good value

Did not stay long, because my host convinced me to take an amazing 2 day, 1 night trip through Khoa Sok National Park and stay in a floating bamboo hut. The room was simple and was somewhat open. A mosquito net was provided. It reminded my of the first time I slept in my tree house as a child. Just a tip, the jungle is loud at night, bring earplugs. In the morning, it was fun watching the monkeys play along side the stream, people kayaking, and tourists washing elephants while eating breakfast. This Area is meant for outdoorsy people who can handle being dirty, wet, and surrounded by bugs.
