We celebrated our first wedding anniversary and we enjoyed our stay in Chatrium. The staff are accomodating. The river view is breathtaking. They gave us a welcome drink which is sweet. The pool is nice, overlooking the river as well. Breakfast is good too. We will book the same hotel the next time we come back.

Some things to like:
* Check in the fastest I've seen it.
* Soda water in the rooms.
* Concierge sends my laundry to a local shop so I don't pay more for hotel laundry than the clothes cost in some cases.
* Lek and other staff at breakfast are fantastic.
* The buffet breakfast has really good olives and fresh salad ingredients.
* The cleaners do a great job.
What needs improvement:
* Over ten years the pigeons have gone from zero to a gang-mob that is getting better at poluting food and wasting it - the last time the plastic covers with a hole in the middle were being pecked through by the pigeons and my breakfast is 50% more stressful. The pigeons should either be poisoned or a better meal should be placed for them as a decoy - each month they get bolder and more of them.
* The top floor bar has ugly art, irritating music, an ugly carpet and boring snacks: 2 out of 10. The music was so bad I took my drink to go. Staff are warm though. If you want to see a 5 star bar visit the Bangkok social club at four seasons next door - very conveniently located.

Spent 2 nights here over a longer trip in BKK/Thailand, and it was by far our favourite choice of accomodation. Beautiful river views and balcony, a full kitchenette, and 7/11 and laundry services close by. This is a hidden special spot amidst the other very high end ($$$) riverside hotels

As someone who travels a lot, this hotel was quite impressive, so much we returned for one last night before flying home. From the moment you arrive, the staff is attentive and helpful. Check in is quick and easy. I like the security of knowing you can only access your floor with your key. The pool and pool bar amazing. The restaurant and bar on 32 floor amazing. Didn't use the fitness area but looked great. Most memorable is the breakfast buffet. So much variety in choice and flavors. The whole property was beautiful. The room was so spacious, clean and the view is amazing. The bed was one of the most comfortable of all the rooms we stayed in over a month in Thailand. Turn down service was great. Complimentary items in the fridge was a nice amenity. 24 hour room service a plus. Free boat to shopping area was also a great amenity. 711 nearby was a great great perk. What made this hotel even more special was the staff. Every single person that works there is friendly and helpful in any way possible. Met the general manager outside and had a nice conversation. He was very friendly and open and wanted to ensure we had a great stay. Just can't say enough about this hotel. I have never wanted to return somewhere simply for the opportunity to stay at a specific hotel, but this hotel experience makes me look forward to my return to Thailand.

We had an unforgettable stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Siem Reap. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately impressed by the hotel’s elegant design, spacious rooms, and beautifully maintained infrastructure. But what truly set this experience apart was the outstanding service we received throughout our stay.
The staff went above and beyond to help us organize every aspect of our trip. From visiting Angkor Wat at sunrise to an exhilarating ziplining adventure in the jungle, everything was arranged smoothly and with great attention to detail. They also helped us book an incredible dinner experience, secure transportation across town, and even reserve tickets for the Phare Circus — an absolute must-see.
No request was too much, and everything was handled with a smile and genuine care. We were truly amazed at how effortless they made it all feel.
The hotel itself is a haven of comfort. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied, with both local and international options — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The pool area was relaxing and never overcrowded, and the entire property was spotless and well maintained.
All in all, Courtyard by Marriott Siem Reap exceeded every expectation. It’s not just a place to stay — it’s a team that helps you make the most of your time in Cambodia. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

Everything about this hotel is high quality, from the facilities to the friendly, attentive staff.
The food in all the restaurants is amazing too.
Views from Cloud 36 are breathtaking. The free shuttle boat is very handy as it takes you to the next pier where you can get other boats or the Skytrain. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

Spacious hotel room with adult and kids bathtub. Also playground and jacuzzi pool and steam room. Decent gym. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Nearby cafes, restaurants and massage, 7-11 within walking distance. Regular shuttles to sathorn pier and can change to BTS skytrain or boats to Iconsiam or Wat Arun. But returning after dinner from Iconsiam have a hour long queues. Huge hotel deposit which you can substitute with credit card. Limited tv choices.

Chatrium Riverside is a top hotel in the world in almost every respect. This is why I felt so unhappy when I caught Covid while at the hotel and realized that hotel protocol made things worse in every way for someone with Covid:
1) House-cleaners are not informed when a guest is sick and clean without masks or cloves, making Covid spread more.
Remedy: inform and give them gloves and mask.
2) The hotel wants guests with Covid to go out of the room rather than quarantine, resists ordering medicine, thus encouraging the spread of Covid.
Remedy: a clear Covid protocol that prioritizes best practices rather than requiring guests to infect other guests to satisfy untrained hotel staff.
3) The hotel demands cash payment for any medicine and refuses credit cards creating a clear message: "Your health is not our priority - our policies are."
Remedy: Charge 10% service charge, take all payment and always prioritize safety and health first.
4) The hotel will not honor requests not to call when the don't disturb sign is up or by e-mail: calling multiple times when I said I was sleeping. I had to unplug all phones just to ensure rest.
Remedy: do not call sick guests who need sleep.
5) The hotel does not stock basic Covid supplies and makes it an enormous hassle to get them, beginning with difficulty communicating with the operator who does not prioritize or respond well or understand health requests.

I travelled with my friends and we stayed in club suit which had a lot of benefits. The property was next to the river with beautiful view. The hotel had free shuttle boat to BTS station so it was very convenient to travel around. Staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel.
