We really enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast buffet is great. Location is near with temples. There are travel agencies as well. If a foreigner would visit Bangkok, I would love to suggest Dang Derm for accommodation. Love it here.

Made a booking just couple of hours before we get back to Bangkok. Did early check-in and they were very accommodating to set the room for us. Place is very secured with 24hrs front desk within the busy Khaosan Road. Staffs are very friendly. Place is very clean and accessible. Budget friendly too!

I am a young budget traveler bringing two younger people with me and this hostel certainly exceeded my expectation of a good place to stay. For a hostel, Golden Mountain really has everything we needed. A good and spacious room, comfortable bed, clean shared bathroom, strategic location. Location.+ right at the center, walking distance to wat pho, tah tien port (to wat arun), grand palace, sanam luang bus stop.- spotted a few homeless outside the hotel. Breakfast: awesome, full buffet breakfast. Rice+veg+meat. Toast bread+bacon+sausage+pancake. Fruit+veg salads. Coffee, tea (+ creamer), orange juice, lime juice, water. Room:+ spacious, upgraded to triple room, bed and sheet clean (changed every day). Refrigerator, welcome drink, electric hot water jug. Control center (remote) for lamp and aircon. Full black curtain. Quiet. TV. Sofa, closet with hanger. Table+mirror and chair.- wooden furniture old, but still functional. Bath room:+ instant hot water, bathtub, towel, tooth brush, soap+shampoo, sandals, big mirror.

When I reach hotel. The staff tell me there is no more room and ask me to walk in other hotel. After aguing more than 1hour they give me the room which haven't cleaned yet.

The hotel 's room very old, Air conditions is not work properly. Night Reception did not have knowledge and knowhow to solve the problems. Not recommend.

The room was very dirty and terrible. They didn't change the bed sheet. There were hairs on the bed sheet and on the floor. The service are bad the staff not friendly at all.

Stayed here for just a night to catch an early morning bus. Did the job. But if you're looking for a quiet, restful night, this is definitely not the place for you.

The hotel room looks quite old and tight. The staff reserved the wrong room (standard room) instead of the superior room we booked in the 1st day (we booked 2 superior rooms for 2 days) then they agreed to change us to the superior room in the 2nd day. In the 2nd day, they offered us 4 free tickets for breakfast (highly appreciate for this but still unhappy in general) and refund for money difference. However, the 2nd superior room has 2 single beds instead of king bed as described in description (I read carefully and knew they have many options even for superior room so I chose the right one) but they explained that the room will be dependent on their capability. So why don't they keep us at least for this problem? Anyway, after disputing for a while, I asked staff to rearrange by merging 2 single bed and bringing the king mattress to the room:( my team are all tired because of these things and I feel shameful as I was in charge of booking the room that is not good enough. Besides, please take note for no hair dryer, no elevator and a bit fragrance of hygiene liquid. The good point are: the staff are quite friendly, restaurant is directly under the hotel and pharmacy is next by.
