I booked a room for a group of 4 at MovyLodge and was initially pleased. However, the staff member on duty on February 11th left us disappointed. Despite having fully paid for the group's 2-night stay, we left around 5 pm due to her attitude. Her customer service skills need improvement. In the morning, when my group arrived early to pay the deposit and drop off luggage, I witnessed her impatience and disdain towards other guests who returned towels to the counter without knowing where to place them. By 4:30 pm when we returned to check-in, we were assigned two rooms with 4 beds each, forcing our group to split. I inquired about the change, given that I had originally booked one room for 4 people. She laughed dismissively, claiming that the previous guests couldn't be moved elsewhere. I asked why the room for 4 was advertised if unavailable, and she responded with a condescending look, stating that we had to accept it. There was no apology or proper explanation. Since we had already paid, we were told it was either stay or leave without a refund. She remained rigid and unpleasant, even when I struggled with heavy luggage and requested to bring my shoes up before organizing them in the room. It became unbearable, leading us to angrily check out.
