This was a great place to stay for a night and I could see myself staying there for a little longer. The hotel is super clean and new, quiet, has a cool pool and a lovely garden. The staff are nice and friendly. The only slight downside is the area (everything is along a busy 2-3 lane main road) which is common for all hotels and not a particular issue for this one.

This a beautifully designed hotel and the garden is magnificent. The breakfast if acceptable but could be improved. I don’t care for the so- called fruit juice that comes out of box. Specially in country with so much excellent fruits. The rooms were cleaned and well taken care off. And the staff super friendly. (The taxi driver broke my suitcase handle and they quickly tried to fix it. I was impressed) Some rooms have balconies that open to the pool. Very relaxing and quiet being only a block from the main drag. and conveniently located just north of the busy part of town. Amenities are just the essential and they could use new towels, those in my room were old and stiff. For the rate in high season? Humm maybe a little expensive but probably worth it. It’s possible I would stay there again

Great stay, awesome location. The villa rooms are really beautiful and offer privacy, but their pool is very shallow. Luckily the pool for the pool-access rooms is nearby and you can use it too. Very peaceful and clean. I would recommend their breakfast too.

Khaolak Forest Resort was a great place to stay. My wife and I ended up staying there for two weeks. The free breakfast was good, the wifi worked well, and the rooms were very quiet at night. The hotel is only one block off the main road, but they have managed to make it feel like you like its own totally separate area. Completely relaxing and wonderful.

I stayed here for four nights in January 2018. I would stay here again and recommend it to fellow travellers. The rooms and facilities are in excellent condition, I felt like they were practically brand new. The hotel is very peaceful and quiet. The rooms have good sound insulation- I never heard any noises from outside. The hotel has an outstanding buffet breakfast with very tasty food. My room had a balcony with a lounger which was a nice spot to relax. The hotel has quite a large pool and multiple sunning areas which are also good places to relax. The downside of this hotel is it is not near the beach. You will need to motorcycle or taxi to reach the nearest beach. It is also a little bit far away from the main activity centre of Bang Niang (near 7-11) which is where most of the restaurants, bar and shops are - about a 10-15 minute walk along an uneven sidewalk. There are however some modest looking restaurants within 50m or so of hotel which serve excellent food. One of these is right near the entrance to the hotel. For the hotel to be better I think they could be more proactive in providing visitor information such as tours available, area map, how to get to the beach, transport options etc. I was provided with information about tours for instance but only after asking and even then the staff didn't provide as much information as I wanted. The staff should provide a visitor guide and also outline things to do and how to get around when checking in.

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. we had 2 different rooms - one standard and a villa. Both rooms were really good, the villa had a walk-in wardrobe and a bigger bathroom with a bath. Hotel feels brand new with 2 big swimming pools! The rooms were always very clean and fresh towels were provided every day (both bathroom and pool towels). Hotel stuff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel location was good with easy access to the best beaches in Khan Lak (10-15 min taxi ride to the White sand beach, 600BHT return). Breakfasts were fine, with a range of continental and traditional thai dishes, but the very simple. 4, occasionally 5 different types of fruit, instant coffee, shop bought pastries. Overall we are really pleased with our stay and would come back again!
