Arrived by water taxi from koh kradan. We booked for 2 nights. Which was perfect. Resort is in on its own, to get to main strip you have to walk round cliff - we went to main strip to eat - more choice and slightly cheaper - but it meant eating early - so could be back to resort before dark - 7pm. The good: free and easy kayaks and snorkel equipment and incredible location! Like amazingly gorgeous and some great snorkeling right next to the hotel, paradise beach a short kayak down the beach. Plenty of loungers on the beach. One of the cheaper places to stay in Koh Ngai. The bad: it felt a bit...tired. The rooms were kept moderately clean, the pool was in desperate need of a clean up. The breakfast that came with the room was continental and it wasn’t very nice..:all of the food was pretty bad as a matter of fact. Very few vegetarian options as well. Service at the bar and restaurant was ridiculously slow. Better food down on the main beach at other restaurants. It feels like the resort and its staff jsut decided to stop caring. They weren’t rude per say, they just didn’t seem to care at all. Should be noted that the path that connects this hotel with the hotels on the main beach is a rocky, 15 minute walk on a Dyer and sometime slippery path, would not be suitable for those with limited mobility, there are long boats that cbs pick you up at the pier and take you to the main beach.

The location is great if you want to disconnect from everything. Gorgeous beach, great snorkeling and kayaking, also hiking trail, strenuous but great views of the whole island. Restaurant had great food. The only downside was the room...water heater didn't work so cold showers, also AC wasn't great. The rooms are very outdated and a little rundown. The rooms can use an update. Some staff was friendly others ok. Overall, the location makes this place.

Standard room with aircon was not expensive. But furniture is old and 10 years behind it's lifespan. Air condition was loud as diesel engine and we couldn't sleep in such noisy sound comming from its fan. In garden, old destroyed car stay just by the way to swimming pool with salty water and plenty of chlorine in it. For same money, it's worth to stay in some resort on long beach. There are some cheap and much more nice and better looking places with better beach approach. Breakfast was good and wide choice for anyone. Also staff was perfect and nice, well speaking english. Card payment is possible which is not common in this island.

Fantastic place to stay! It has its own private pool and beach! Hard to get to if you land on the other side of beach from the boat as this hotel has the pier. There is rocks that need to be climbed to get over if you get dropped of near the other hotels. If this does happen ask anyone to ring the hotel and they will come over and help you carry your bags. Lovely place to stay and the island is gorgeous!! If the sea is rocky be careful as the boat rides there are a eye opener!!

Staff and restaurant staff were super welcoming. Breakfast was average, but filling. Our room was on the cheaper end and very in need of upkeep. It was clean, but very dated. We are budget travelers and for the money it was fine. The more upscale rooms looked really nice. The restaurant for dinner was okay, but we are vegetarian so can't speak to everything.

Fabulous stay at Koh Ngai Resort. Staff were helpful and friendly from the moment we checked in, to the moment we left. The hotel allow you rent snorkels and sea kayak quipment for free, and they have a fab little area where you can get massages by the beach. It’s only a short walk to the next beach, where there are more restaurants and little bars. Me and my boyfriend had a fab time here and would definitely reccomend it to other couples travelling around Thailand.

Beautiful, tranquil little resort right on the sandy, white beach. Our resort was a bit hidden from the other resorts which left us with our own cute beach. Perfect spot if you’re looking to get away and relax in the peace and quiet. Snorkeling mask & fins, and kayaks are provided for free and can be used right off our beach. The food was okay, but the bar stays open all night. Weather was perfect in mid-November with a few lightning storms at night but nothing to stop you from exploring.

We really enjoyed this resort and would 100% come back! Our boats (from Lanta and going to Libong/Lipe) dropped us off and picked us up RIGHT outside the resort, which was really handy. The staff are all super friendly and I would highly recommend getting a massage. The lady was really good, and you get to listen to the waves crashing the whole time, making it extra relaxing. Our room was clean and spacious. We loved the deck with chairs. The only downside was the wifi didnt reach our rooms, or even the restaurant so any time we needed to do something on our phone, we’d have to stand right in front of reception. We had dinner at the Resort restaurant, which was delicious and reasonably priced. The free breakfast was equally as good. The beach in front of the resort is beautiful. They have many chairs to sit on and the water is crystal clear with many fish, perfect for snorkelling and kayaking. I would say snorkelling in that water was a highlight of the island (though be careful of jellyfish!). The only downside is in order to get to any other beach (or resort/restaurant), you have to walk a 5-10 min trail along rocks and sand. Its beautiful and safe, but if not physically fit, this could be a challenge. Also, bring bug spray for the walk as there are many mosquitos. Overall we love this place and would go back in an instant! The island is great and so small that you feel like you’re escaping the stresses of the “real” world. It’s also kept so natural..a great escape!

Lovely place, beautiful island! Very clean rooms in a superb tropical location. Restaurant and drinks are a little bit pricey for fairly standard fayre but there isn't really any choice unless you walk on a dodgy path to the next beach. Breakfast is so-so and could do with some improvement. The view and tranquility make it worthwhile, however. The beach it somewhat tidal and you can't really swim at low tide, but there is some coral and the sea is clean so when it is possible to swim it is very nice.

The hotel and pool are both very nice. It's difficult to get to anywhere else on the island. The wifi does not work in the rooms and doesn't really very well anywhere. You should probably get a Thai sim card before coming. There is a good LTE cell connection. Kayaks are free to use. Beach is nice during high tide. Food is good, but on the pricey side. However, this is really the only hotel that priced at this level on the island.

Great relaxing holiday, snorkelling superb and accessible from the beach. Free snorkel, kayaks, towels and beach mats. Friendly helpful staff. Hotel good and drink a little pricey and quality could be better. Rooms cleaned daily to a good standard.
