A complete oasis of calm. Such a beautiful, kind family running La-Or, welcoming, attentive. Very clean, big bungalows, well located but still quiet. Perfect pool, all perfect. I'd go back!!

Stayed here with family after we had spent a few days in Bangkok. The hotel turned out to be the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. We had poolside bungalows that were very comfortable and spacious. Staff were all very pleasant and willing to provide service. The early morning coffee and toast were an added bonus to start the day.

I was a little unsure about this resort when I first arrived but ended up not wanting to leave! It was so cute and peaceful. My only issue was the air conditioning, it wasn't quite as cool as I would have liked but that is my personal preference, would I stay here again? Absolutely 100%. A hidden gem, so happy I found it. Fantastic size balcony compared to other places I have stayed. Beautiful pool, huge fridge. A great find!!

A nice resort to stay at if you want to just relax . The rooms are a good size with a flat screen tv and decent beds.There is a large salt water pool and plenty of sun beds each with a mattress for comfort. If you have mobility problems this may not be for you as the local 7Eleven and the main shopping mall are a good 15 minutes walk. Tuk Tuks don’t seem to pass the resort to often but you can get them if you just walk up to the top of soi 88. Overall I had a great stay at La Or Resort and would certainly return again.

Travelling as a family with two young children, we really enjoyed our three nights stay at the La-or. The rooms are clean and spacious, and by clean I mean well above average clean for Thai resort standards. We really loved the pool too - sizable and very child friendly but with a deep end for adults. The resort has a coffee service and toast in the mornings, and for other meals there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The room came with a huge fridge with a freezer, so we had some meals of our own on the porch (bread, cheese, the usual Scandinavian stuff :) ) Going shopping, Village Market is somewhere between 10-30 minutes walk depending on who are walking (our kids needed a stop for ice cream along the way!). It is also possible to get a cheap tuk-tuk along the way, as they frequently roam the streets, looking for tourists. All in all a very positive experience. We are likely to return to La-or.

Stayed Just a few nights here to play golf in Hua hin. Really friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are fine for the price. The hotel is a way from the beach but it's quiet and has a nice pool for sunbathing. The hotel owner has bikes for rent for 200 baht for 24 hrs, so getting about is easy peasy. Just 100 metres down the road is a little strip of restaurants and bars which I highly recommend.

The bungalows were clean and beautiful! The location is just really bad and taxis/tuk tuks are triple the price in Hua Hin compared to Bangkok, probably only for tourists, but it's a bit hot for a 25 min walk to the beach, unshaded in Hua Hin.

This is a new place I thought I would try. A little more expensive then where I usually like to stay, but worth it. Private bungalow , open to small patio, open air. Better for me than a hotel style room. Very nice staff. Many places close by for food, drink, laundry etc.
