M Place Pattaya

location is wonderful. There are so many shops, restaurants, and supermarkets all within walking distance. This is not an updated modern hotel, but everything is comfortable, clean, and more than a value for the price. I have chosen M Place for 4 different 1 month trips. Satisfied every time.

An excellent place for long stays. It is a little out of the way, but easy enough to get taxis. Clean and comfortable, great value

The owner and staff are vey helpful. Although a bit dated the room I had was large and roomy and in reasonable condition. My Place is in a quiet location and offers exceptional value for money.

it has a fridge, a sink, microwave. Staff is very polite. 25-40 baht motor bike, 80 baht taxi to SOI 6 or lk metro, tree town... etc. very quiet.walk to big c grocery.

Close but not to close... a convenient 7-11 is located in every corner. Thai street vendors with pastries, fruits and meats. Taxi (motorbike) are ready to take you down to the beach or walking street (5-10min ride 70baht). At night the area is quiet and peaceful.

Really nice couple who own and run the place. I think it’s ideal for long term stay. Location is close to the action but nice and quiet. If you are a first time traveller I recommend other areas. But for a seasoned visitor you can’t beat the price and location is good if you like to walk or rent a scooter. Be aware of their hours. Not always open but very helpful and communicative. Highly recommended!!! But

Solid hotel if you just need a place to crash for the night. Clearly an older place but maintained as well as possible given the nightly rate.

M Place is a good place to stay in Pattaya if you are looking for a place away from Beach Rd. As an older building it is without a lift so if you’re a traveller with a heavy bag and you are given a room on the 5th floor be ready to haul your bag up narrow stairs. Wifi was excellent and I found the room clean and comfortable but a little tired. My only negatives is that the shower in my room - although having a heater - was cold and the pressure unsatisfying. Couldn’t wait to get to my next hotel for a decent, refreshing hot shower. Also, in reference to the building getting a little tired - the shower curtain in my room definitely needed replacing being black and mouldy at it’s base - details like this either have people coming back or not. Overall I enjoyed my stay but the lack of a decent shower just had me move on. The older couple that are custodians of the property are lovely people and you’re just a 15min walk to the beach. Recommend but be aware it has its shortcomings.
