Loved our stay! Charming, unique and inviting place in a wonderful location within walking distance to the main sites and off-the-beaten-path gems! Tuk tuks and taxis were available anytime you’d want them. The staff members were very friendly, helpful and accommodating from booking to check-out. Highly recommended for couples, families and solo travelers alike. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee shop a few doors down was excellent as well. I thought of adding photos but the ones in the listing are accurate. There was construction that they explained up front and we are so glad that did not deter us. It was never an issue at all. We would definitely stay again.

From the minute I booked Old Capital Bike Inn, I felt I am going to visit friends. This was my first time to Bangkok. The staff at Old Capital Bike Inn took care of me like you would when a friend or family member comes to visit. I felt right at home. Many places I wanted to see were in walking distance. The room was amazing and felt like home away from home. The delicious breakfast and coffee was wonderful. I also loved the complimentary bicycle tour which was one of the many highlights. I would come back and stay here again.

We loved our stay at Old Capital Bike Inn. Service is very high-touch. We felt warmly welcomed every time we returned to the hotel. We were charmed by all of the generous, personalized touches and absolutely enamored with the top-quality breakfast pre-arranged for the time we would like to have it and (for now at least) included with the nightly rate. The location is good - about 15 minutes to Khao San Road and in the other direction, close to Wat Pho and the Grand Palace. Canal ferry access is a quick walk away and the tourist hop/on-hop/off boat is about a 20 minute walk. The city is busy expanding public transport access and building a subway entrance near the hotel. We did experience some construction noise and activity but did not find it to be very disruptive during our stay. Once it is complete, the hotel will be in an even better location. Highly recommend!

Our family stay at Old Capital Bike Inn was just perfect. We arrived late at night and were greeted at the airport with a driver and at the Inn with personal attention. Breakfast was wonderful and an easy and quaint way to start the days. Jason and the rest of the staff helped us to have a truly memorable stay in Bangkok: I highly recommend.

The design was very unique and the room was well designed to fit that niche. The staff was very friendly and welcoming with a small snack and drink. They were also able to arrange a drive to the airport, provided some great recommendations for nearby events and food, and the takeaway breakfast was fresh if only a bit small (at least for my athletic appetite) The location had some construction outside, but it was still central in downtown Bangkok and had easy access to public transport with a small walk.

What’s not to like!? I had a wonderful stay in the garden suite and only wish I could have stayed longer. A fabulously characterful property with impeccable attention to detail. Within walking distance to many attractions and a short taxi ride to others. This is a property not to be missed. Cannot praise the staff highly enough for their attentiveness and assistance.

The hotel was very unique and fun. The staff was amazing and personal. Breakfast was really good. Soon there will be a subway stop right out front and that will bring value to the transportation. Right now you have to taxi every where. The bikes were a special treat. We stayed in the garden room and they gave us special salts for a relaxing bath in the oversized tub and a gift of chop sticks when we arrived. It was really historic.

Had an absolutely amazing stay from start to finish! Jason and his staff are amazing, super hospitable, informative, and helpful. I really enjoyed chatting with Vee/Bee and learning more about Thailand, Bangkok, and the day to day of living. He also had some amazing tips on what to see and do, as well as having maps on hand to make it easy to get to where I was going. I also LOVED the breakfast every morning. It's all made as soon as you come downstairs so you never have to worry about things going cold. You can also choose what you want so you can try a whole bunch of things. As many of the other reviewers have mentioned, there is construction ongoing but that does not impact your ability to sleep at night or get dropped off/picked up by taxis. The hotel is also close to many different points of transportation so it's very convenient to everything. I stayed in two different rooms and both were great. Beds were super comfy, bathrooms were spacious, and room was stocked every day with fresh water and lovely personalized notes. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because I LOVED staying at the Old Capital Bike Inn. Stay here, you will not regret it!!

A wonderful stay at a characterful hotel. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and informative. Yes as you will have seen; there are road works at the front of the hotel but the hotel is a calm chilled oasis away from the busy streets outside.
