Cannot fault this hotel. The pool is lovely and all the rooms are pool side. Room was large and really nice and clean, aur con, water pressure and wifi worked well. Couldn't figure out the tv though but no biggie. It is set between the street and beach with direct access to both so you get the best of both worlds of Long Beach. Will definitely be staying again.

The peaceful resort was a pleasant surprise! The staff were very friendly and we spent the first night in the garden view room. It was nice but the towels left so much lint everywhere but it was okay because we were being upgraded to a pool view room for the rest of our stay anyways. I would highly recommend the pool view room over the garden view room. The room was bigger, better towels, shampoo was provided this time, and we had our own private balcony. Breakfast was made to order and they were excellent at arranging a scooter for us to rent and transportation to our next destination. I would stay again for sure!

You know what? This is a delightful place with wonderful, friendly staff. One immediately forgives the shortcomings of the obvious struggle they're having in maintaining and updating the property. It might not be perfect but it all works and is functional and practical. Can't fault it for effort!

It was a good stay overall The GREATs: The room is big, there is AC, it's clean, there is hot water (pressure isn't that great, but it's ok), it's confortable. The pool was nice and clean. It's fun to be able to walk to the calm beach in a short distance. I had a pool facing room, with a patio and it was nice. The OKs: Service is ok. Staff is sweet, but nothing more. Note: The mosque is clearly near by because you can hear the prayer which i don't mind except at 4:55am. The first day it surprised me, but then i slept trough it and never noticed it again. But if you are a light sleeper, that might wake you up. Overall, it was a good stay.

Very quiet in the off season. But lovely pool and nice spacious room. Very close to the beach. A few restaurants are open at this time of year but perfect if you’re looking for something a bit more chill. We didn’t rent a bike but I’ve heard it’s a lovely island to explore. But can’t complain when it comes to the hotel

Great location a short 5/10 minute stroll to the beach. Hotel room was really clean. Large fridge was a bonus. Bed was comfy. Pool was nice and quiet. Suggestion for improvement is that the shower needs more pressure and was cold at times.

The staff here go the extra mile to make sure your stay is comfortable and they are helpful will booking day trips and renting scooters. There is a nice pool, mini marts and small food shops near by, and the beach is an easy 4 minute walk to beach. The beach is clean and there are many good restaurants to try. Lim’s in Particular is very good, the Thai food exceptional and the staff wonderful. You can book direct at reception. I am not mentioning rates as this is not allowed on reviews. This is not a fancy resort, but super comfy beds and good AC, WiFi and TV makes it better than many more expensive resorts in the area. Would definitely stay again

We only stayed for one night. Decent place with a good pool. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach. Lack of a screen door or mosquito netting a concern. Also the AC kept shutting off every now and then. The area also lost power at one point, but we were going out for the day, so didn't affect us directly. Overall, an OK place.

Likely the best value of anywhere we stayed in Thailand. It's a short walk (not lovely, but short) to Long Beach. The beds were very comfy and the staff was just lovely. You can walk to a number of eateries, the tuk tuk fares are inexpensive for getting around. No food here, so if you don't like hunting for breakfast, make sure to bring simple fare. We picked up fresh fruit and cereal a few minutes' walk from the resort. It's a family place so the pool was noisy in the daytime. We got used to the prayer noise from the nearby mosque. Would absolutely stay here again. Excellent value!

Mattress was hard, but the staff kindly swapped it for a softer one after the first night. It is on top of the hill so it is not so close to restaurants or bars, but with a scooter you have a peaceful, nice and cheap stay.

Absolutely loved our stay at Peaceful resort. Friendly and welcoming staff from reception through to housekeeping. Lovely spacious room with a terrace that looks over the pool , comfortable bed, big fridge, TV with many English channels. Would recommend hiring a bike to get around which you can do at reception

One bit of bad news on location, there is a mosque close by and they will start morning 5am prayers over a very loud speaker. It will wake you up. In my opinion the issue is community issue. We live in a world where everyone has a phone. The morning prayer can be an app alarm or some other communication transmission to Muslim community to conduct morning prayers. I know the app exists. Sorry Muslim community but how was this done before electricity and amplification. I could not return to this property because of issue. in my opinion the mosque and hotel property owners need to come together to address the issue of what the us calls "disturbing the peace" in hours of sleep. A mandatory wake up call at 5am while on vacation is not acceptable, in my opinion regardless mosque operations.

The hotel is a few hundred meters set back from the main beach boulevard, beautiful nature/mountain view and quiet. They offer hourly rides though (and I guess you could walk and also take a tuk tuk for a few baht). Rooms/bungalows are very nice, large with modern bathroom. We feel we got a great deal for a very reasonable price. We would definitely choose this hotel again.
