Our time at Pingchan Bungalows in Koh Phangan was nothing short of amazing—we only wish we had stayed longer than four days! Nestled on the stunning Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, this hidden gem is the perfect retreat for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
Waking up to the sight of soft white sand and the soothing sound of waves was pure bliss. Our beachfront bungalow was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, mosquito net, a cozy bed, Netflix, and private daybeds on both the patio and the beach. The property itself is one of the best on the beach, featuring a central location, a lovely pool, and a fantastic beachfront massage spot right next door. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and there were plenty of local restaurants and beach bars within walking distance. For even more dining options, we enjoyed taking a quick bike ride to Thong Nai Pan Noi, which had a wider selection of great restaurants.
Our only suggestion would be for the hotel to renovate the beachfront restaurant, as it has incredible potential. Currently, there’s no lunch or dinner service, but adding a beach bar for sunset drinks would make it even more special.
If you’re looking for a tranquil, rejuvenating escape, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!

This is the best place to stay on the beach by far. The nicest place we stayed our whole time in Thailand. We were almost crying when we had to leave. Best shower, best location. I use these kinds of reviews to make my booking decisions.

We loved our stay at Pingchan Hotel. We were a family of four staying in a beach front villa, after a week in a big hotel on Koh Samui. We wanted to get away from the big tourism of Samui and Pingchan and Thong Nai Pan Beach really delivered! Such an amazing setting, quiet, beach shack bars, beautiful clear water and fine sand and it certainly felt a little off the beaten track. The room was comfortable with all necessary amenities, some areas like the outdoor shower looking a little tired and in need of maintenance, but overall wonderful. Pool to ourselves most of the time, with an amazing jungle backdrop on one side and sea on the other!

Everything was perfect. Comfortable bed in a lovely room in the most beautiful location. Perfect for a quiet getaway with a stunning unspoilt and un-touristy beach just steps away from your door. We are a family of 4 that stayed for 4 nights, it was amazing! Just walk up and down the beach to choose from different restaurants and activities. In town (5 minute walk) was street food, small bars, scooter rentals, and everything you need.
The staff are so helpful and friendly. My daughter was seasick from the ferry ride and vomited on her blanket. They rushed a laundry order for me so she could have her blanket back to sleep with that night.
I would absolutely stay here over and over again.

Family stay in a nice location on a beach that due to the time of the year was mostly empty. The resort was also empty other then our family (three bungalows) there was o my another family for the whole week.
Breakfast was lovely although the food ordering system is little but odd. You are allowed to order up to 5 items per person but you can ask for me you serving of these items (you can order plate of fried rice for yourself but ask for three serving of it).
The other odd thing was that upon our departure in the reception we have been “presented” with the soap dispenser which we accidentally broke (and advise reception at the time) and was told that they will not charge us for it breaking it as curtesy.
The pool is lovely and clean and the room are spacious (a specially the double one) and cleaned and organised beautifully daily.

We had a lovely stay at PingChan. The food was amazing. We tried a couple of other restaurants on the beach and PingChan had the best location and the best food. The grounds were well maintained the beach was amazing. Would def it come back!
