Sabaidee House Sukhothai

Beautiful and very quiet hotel with lovely staff and weirdly also lovely neighbours. Room wasn’t quite as modern as the pictures suggested, but it was easy and affordable to extend my stay after discovering just how quiet and nice the place was.

We didn’t end up by staying there as we couldn’t get our vehicle up the driveway and it was too far off the main road. The staff were trying to be as helpful as possible. Everything there seemed ok but it was too far away from everything.

Feb 2023. Very pretty property with mature trees, greenery, water ponds, garden. Exceptionally friendly staff, promotes good interaction with other guests. 15 minute walk to restaurants in New City. Far from Old Sukhothai (150-200baht = $6 tuk-tuk each way).

A quiet hotel with friendly helpful staff. The swimming pool was much appreciated in the heat. On the Thursday evening there was a night market around the corner that was well worth a visit

Great price. The breakfast was good. The hot water for showers was not really that warm. The internet worked great.

It was a very satisfactory stay over the new year, with home-made speciality snacks offered gratis and free local alcoholic drinks. The owner was very hospurable and genuinelt friendly. A terrific place, with atmosphere and a clean, well-maintained pool.

It is always interesting to travel in Thailand. There is a different language and culture but sometimes you hit a real gem. I booked a stay at this Guesthouse and was upgraded when I came in and the two staff members that operated were very delightful. They bent over to make my stay Pleasant. Some of the reviews say that it is out of the way however I was there to see the old city of Sukhothai and it was very near a main Songthoew route to the Old City. It was a short walk up alleys or "Sois" to the main road where the Songthoews ran. My experience was quite good so I will recommend this Guesthouse easily.

The tropical garden setting at Sabaidee House is what makes this place something out of the ordinary. Winding paths surrounded by an amazing array of trees and plants, combined with traditional sculptures and carvings, all blend together to create an atmosphere that is both inspiring and relaxing all at the same time. Management and staff are very welcoming and helpful and languages spoken there, include Thai, French and English. Accommodation is clean, quiet and comfortable, however, with expanses of standing water in the area, it would be advisable to bring along some mosquito repellant. Transport to the 13th century UNESCO heritage listed site in Old Sukhothai is available just a short walk away on the main road and the bus terminal is close by, as well. Overall, my impression is that this would have to rate as one of the better destinations to stay, for anyone intending to visit Sukhothai.

Hotel is in a lovely location, but a little far from the center of town and market. If walking be careful during rainy season as the path to the hotel floods. Really nice rooms and grounds. Has a pool for relaxing in the afternoon after visiting the wats. Bed was too hard for my liking, but got upgraded to a room with ac and ensuite so can't complain too much.

Would recommend this place to others. We loved our stay here! Quiet and tucked away in the jungle with our own bungalow next to the pool... bliss!

Service is amazing the place is quite and beautiful the only sound is the nature! Definitely coming back

This has been the best value so far in Thailand. The service awesome. Very hard to find if you are used to American road standards. IT felt like a bike path. . The car barely fit down the road. (Luckily it was a rental!) So worth the find.

The hotel is quite far from the main temples. It is also hard to get to them. The owner said that there is a shuttle service every 20 minutes in the street. I waited for 30 then I started walking and it came after 50 minutes. In the room there was no soap or shampoo. The hotel didn't have bikes or scooters to rent.

A great little hotel just far enough away from it all to feel like you were in the middle of the jungle, however close enough to be able to access the Historical Park and the New City. For the price paid you can not go wrong.

The place was nice and cozy. Staffs are so polite and helpful. Atmosphere of the place is garden and lotus ponds. Pool is not very big but enough for relaxing. However, the place located in a small lane which you may feel a bit lost when you first arrive.

The staff was very very kind, service is most important for them. If you looke at the property you could be in doubt but they have suffered from serious flooding and covid. They really composate everything. If in any doubt, book them!!

Die alten Bungalows hatten einen Röhrenfernseher, die neuen hatten keinen Fernseher. Das WiFi hat im Zimmer nicht funktioniert. Leider ist mehrfach der Strom ausgefallen. Das wir Sessel haben wollten um auf der Terrasse sitzen zu können war nicht einfach. Die Klimaanlage war gut.
