Safari Beach Hotel

Safari Beach Hotel is a tropical oasis right next to crazy Bangla Road. Close to many great bars, This was my 4th stay at this hotel. My only complaint is that the shower was warm, not hot.

This property is perfectly located right across the street from the beach and just a few steps away from the bottom of Bangla Road. The rooms are a little bit old and dated, and the bathrooms aren’t so great, but the beds are really comfortable and it has everything you need and a nice pool. You will hear all of the noise from Banga Road, so if that is a worry for you, you might look farther away. I had a great stay here. So convenient to everything.

Our room smelt very moldy as well as lots of biting bugs. My legs were chewed up.

The absolute best location on Patong Beach. The staff were incredible!!

This place is located a minute from patong Beach. The hotel is clean and its staff is extremely friendly and very helpful with any need you may have. It has a good seafood and international restaurant connected to it. But once again the staff makes it a great place to stay. I don't recommend this but I left for a tour early in the morning and forgot to lock the in-room safe which I left my valuables and a lot of money in. After over 9 hours I came back My room was completely clean and everything in the safe was intact. So does I was very pleased to find out the staff was honest as well. I will be staying there again.

Very obliging staff- tidy clean and well located

A nice hotel in a good location. There are many rooms that are far from any noise, my room was quiet. The adjoining restaurant is quite good.

Right next to Bangla Road, Tuk Tuks and a minute walk from the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and well kept.

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms where very nice and the service was excellent. The rate at the hotel was much higher than we paid via the Hotels.com app. Due to COVID only one restaurant was open and it was really over priced for what we got. I had lobster and it was served with a dry salad and a cold dry Jacket potato. I would stay here again but maybe not eat at the restaurant. The location is great right on the beach and next to the walking street.

HORRIBLE!!!! I booked 3 rooms for 3 nights. We checked in at 7:30pm. Walking down the hall we observed water leaking through the ceiling with several towels on the floor to absorb the water. We dropped our bags, freshened up counted my money and put valuables in room safe. We returned at 11pm. Went to the room safe to confirm valuables were all accounted for. Low and behold! I am short $200 US. Went to front desk to report missing. The lady at the front desk me I would have to wait until morning to speak to manager. Went back to my room on the way there my children who were in the other two rooms stopped me and told me neither of their toilets were operable. And the maintenance person told us no one there could fix them until tomorrow. I got online immediately and booked a room at the BLOC HOTEL which is a hotel in the same block and moved. The Safari Hotel refunded the money for two nights that I was not there but charged me for the first night and I am out $200 cash. The thief relied on me not missing the $200 from the $1500 that was in the envelope. I am sure the thief did this many times before.

It was nothing like the advertising photos. Our Room had a rusty leading airconditioner, blocked toilet, peeling paint of walls, damp smelly room not impressed with the hotel. Breakfast was ok. The location was great.
