Fair for the price. Next to a busy highway that is scary to cross at all times. No safe in the rooms, but staff was friendly and it is convenient to shopping and restaurants. Staff are very helpful with arranging taxis and providing info.

The place was a really great location if you want to be away from thebcraziness of Patong and Kata. Near restaurants, massage and Chalong pier. The ladies in the front office negotiated some great prices for tours to Phi Phi and Similan Islands as well as a city tour for us. They also get tou a really affordable taxi to the airport.

When we arrived at the hotel, which was 2 o'clock in the morning on Sunday, no fault of the hotel there was somebody to meet us obviously to collect the money. When we was taken to the room, he told us a Immediately that the WI.Fi wasn't working. Didn't even show us how anything was in the room. But I put this down to the time. What we was told, where was that the room will be cleaned at 11 o'clock in the morning. Managed to get a bit of sleep. I found the bed extremely hard. There was 2 pillows supplie, which were cheap, an uncomfortable. Later that morning when went to ask where breakfast was been served. None of the staff spoke English accept. I got pointed to go down the road to a restaurant. Which does breakfast Off-site. This was not what had been advertised. The restaurant didn't even open till 10 o'clock and it was 8 o'clock in the morning. So we won't into the local store called the big sea. And got some bits so we could have breakfast.. Apart from not having Wi-Fi in the room at all, getting signal for the phone was virtually impossible. As I needed to switch from my normals provider to. The new eSIM I have installed on my phone. We try to make coffee. You are supplied with 2 saches, which was hot chocolate. To do this, you had to put the kettle on the floor as the cable wasn't even longer to reach the plug socket.. Anyhow when I went to the office to bring this to their attention. And wish to leave due to the problems we have encountered. I was met with hostili

This was my second time at Smile Residence. This time I stayed in a standard room. I'm not sure what the difference is from the room I had before as they were the same price. The room I stayed in this time for one night is quite nice, but not as nice as the other room. That being said, the room was a great value for the money. It's very close to Chalong Pier which you can see from the higher floors of the hotel. You can also see the Big Buddha to the west. The rooms are quite large and the beds are firm but comfortable. The only problem was that there was not a chair in the room. There are two patio chairs on the balcony, but no chair in the room. This is a very minor problem considering the price of the room. After 5 days on a livaboard I returned to Smile and I have one of the nicer rooms again. Really great room for the money. The room has a lot of wall outlets and a nice balcony with a sink. The shower pressure is good. The pool is super nice. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There's a laundry right next to the hotel. The hotel also offers shuttle service to and from the airport as well as car and scooter rental at the property. The reception is open 24 hours. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

The room was huge and the view was nice. The bed was very firm, but that is common in this area. I could see the Big Buddha from my room. The room had a nice balcony area that overlooked the hotel pool. The pool was great. The only complaints I might have is that the lighting in the room was very stark. All lighting was overhead and there were no lamps. There were a lot of ants in the room, esp the bathroom.

Decent apartment hotel. Relatively new. Good location if you have transportation. Good value for money.

During my 6 weeks in Thailand / Phuket area I stayed three times in this hotel. Chalong area is not a place you spend your holiday (no beach, for example), but connections to other parts of Phuket island are good. Smile hotel was good, clean and pretty comfortable and price / quality is really good! Staff is super nice, friendly and helpful - I recommend!

정말 만족합니다..새벽 2시에 체크인 했는데..환한 얼굴로 맞아 주시더군요...감동이였습니다.. 최고에 감동은 체크아웃 후 비가 많이 왔는데..픽업트럭이라..케리어가 다 젖어서.. 걱정하고 있었는데..비닐 봉투랑 랩을 무상으로 주셔서 잘 해결 됬습니다...포장하는것도 도와주시구요..여행 20년차 푸켓만 20번 넘게 여행했는데...그중 최고였습니다.. 맞은편 맛집도 있고 편의점 및 맥주집도 있습니다..ㅎㅎ
