The resort looks good at first but it needs a serious renovation. This resort has not been unkept and is definitely not a 5 star place to stay, maybe 20 years ago but not now. The food was bad. I mean we stay at many places but this was like I want to get out of here.

The hotel handled the mismatch of our bookings with Expedia and their own confirmation details horribly. Effectively blaming the guests and putting the onus to fix the problem on the guests of their own property. There were so many things they could have done to resolve the issue smoothly and retain us as their customers but they failed miserably to the point where they actually gave misleading information about the room availabilities. Expedia managed to clear up the incidence for us after just one call. Thank you. Unfortunately for this hotel, we’ll never be back.

The X2 resort is ideal if you are looking to truly relax, and get away from a busy day. The rooms, facilities and service is great - dont expect there to be anything else close by (shops, restaurants, etc.), for that you have to drive. You can rent a scooter, or, hire a driver for that. We stayed for 3 nights which was ideal, staying for longer would make me want to do something more active - but thats my personal taste. Great stay overall

X2 Kui Buri was the perfect choice for our long weekend getaway. The villa was private, clean and very comfortable. The private pool was the highlight, but if you prefer swimming with the view of the ocean, you can use the large pool. The seafood buffet at 4k restaurant was delicious with all you can drink wine. K.Fah, Front Manager, was kind enough to allow late check-out for us. We can't wait to be back!

X2 is a beautiful and exclusive resort with first rate facilities and rooms which provide modern comfort and privacy. The area around is totally unspoilt and there is a long beach to discover. Food and beverages are available throughout the day at reasonable cost and there is a lovely pool with free ice lollies, snacks and tea which is a nice touch. All staff very friendly.

Stayed 1 night at the X2. Finding the hotel was a major feat.It is located if you can find it in an isolated area of the main highway 30 minutes from Hua Hin . If isolation or you wish to experience solitary confinement is what you are into this is the place for you! The layout of the hotel is based on concrete and stone ,even the rooms are constructed from Stone . The beds are hard ,the rooms have no character ,pull the curtains for a good night’s sleep and the light comes in at 6 am from skylights on both sides of the room . I personally did not like the hotel as it has no character and in need of a lot of work . Food was expensive and extremely ordinary .You have no choice of where to eat as once you arrive you are a captive audience . The service and attitude of the staff is excellent and they do go out of their way to assist in any way they can ,it is a shame that such great staff are in a hotel in the middle of nowhere.

Family trip at X2 Kuiburi, stayed a night in beach front pool villa. One of the greatest hotel services, clean and well prepared food, very calm beach and relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are clean and comfort, but not detailed clean yet. Hotel public walkway needed to be renovated that they have been doing the job. The hotel is Pet-friendly, thus not suitable for couples or families that are not into the pets, however, we love them. It was a pleasant stay, will definitely come back again with our pets and kids once the renovation is completed

Awesome place if you want to get away from it all. Very peaceful. We went there for our honeymoon, and had a great time. Some of the public areas do need a little renovation, and they had started this when we were there. And the staff's language is only ok, there were some communication issues. But our bungalow was divine, it had its own small lap pool and was very nicely appointed. The rooms were very clean. The main pool was also kept very clean. There were some activities like kayaking and sailing a catamaran, but mostly this place is for reading poolside, walking on the beach and sleeping in the sun. There isn't much nearby, a monkey temple and an elephant park, and no shops either, so you will most likely be eating at the restaurant for 3 meals a day. The food was great, expensive for Thailand, but you're in a resort, and you have to expect resort prices. Lots of Thai's go here for a weekend, so the place is not overrun by tourists.

Hotel was built in the year 2007. You may find something needs to be changed. Toilet flushing system isn't good. Can't flush at one go. Plenty of Mosquitos, nets required to prevent them entering the room. The 4K restaurant is the only place for food, if u aren't driving. Choose the pool villa room to enjoy the best stay. Overall: 7/10
