I traveled solo and enjoyed it very much. Lovely staff. Great for families too. Big lap pool, very relaxing and some fun too. Very quiet at night. Shuttle service to 2 other beach front restaurants/lounges every hour was awesome. I would definitely consider going back.

It was very relaxing atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay but unfortunately due to my inability to walk much and area around was hilly I couldn’t get out much unless I used a taxi service. Also, the hotel had a few steps in the entrance which I made me quite wary I might fall when coming up and down them. Apart from that it was an awesome place to stay.

Our honeymoon in Southeast Asia took us to 7 cities across 5 countries, all at 5-star resorts that exceeded our expectations—except for Twimpalms Phuket. This resort barely qualifies as a 3.5-star property. I was misled by the overly positive reviews on Expedia, which seem questionable upon reflection. The only good feature was the pool, however it felt cramped and overshadowed by tall trees, leaving little room for sunlight. The public beach across the street was dirty, though the hotel offers transfers to a more appealing beach club 10 minutes away. The resort's atmosphere was surprisingly dull, bordering on lifeless. Our room was outdated. There was no door for the toilet, and the weak flush required multiple attempts. The shower lacked a door, resulting in water flooding the bathroom. The bathrobes were so thin they were nearly transparent. While the room had a wide sliding door facing the pool/common area, the glass was see through providing no privacy, forcing us to keep the curtains closed. Breakfast was a letdown and unsanitary. I witnessed the chef taste food from a soup spoon and reusing it. One morning, we had to share a table with other people, and the quality of food and coffee was poor. We prepaid breakfast for four days but only used two. Rooms lack an iron and board, requiring us to request them from room service, sometimes waiting an hour. At checkout, I was unexpectedly chased down for a $12 charge for a small fruit plate ordered while waiting for an iron.

They made us pay for dental kit, provided in the restroom, with no tag price on it.The price should be obvious so you’re not surprised at the check out. They showed us a book with the prices for the minibar staff. We asked the front desk to talk to the manager about the shaving kit and dental but the front desk said he is not available and this is our policy. It wasn’t for the total amount that we had to pay but it looks ridiculous for a 5 star resort to charge guests for this elementary things. Staff weren’t friendly at all. They barely could say hi or smile.The internet connection was not good at all. The resort was modern style and the rooms were really nice. Cleaning service was great!
