This campsite is perfectly situated in Wadi Rum. The cabins and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The meals were delicious and the tea flowed like a river. My family loved the option for a private day tour and the evening camel ride. Would high recommend this camp for traveling families.

we can highly recommend this camp, what a great experience to be in the middle of the desert in a Bedouin tent eating tradionally cooked food. The staff is very friendly and make you feel very welcome! Truly a highlight of our Jordan trip! Only one thing you should be aware, you can not drive to the camp yourselve unless you have a 4 wheel drive car with a guide. We parked our car in the Wadi Rum village and did the 2 hour jeep tour which was offered through the Bedouin Camp. It was 35 JD per person including dinner, breakfast and the tent with shared bathroom

The Bedouin Lifestyle Camp was my favorite experience in Jordan. It was better then Petra, Jaresh and Aqaba. My only regret was spending longer there. The ratings don't really give it justice because it doesn't ask about the experience. If you like gorgeous sunsets enjoyed from a mountainside, sand dunes to climb/run down, traditional foods, a star filled sky unmarred by light pollution, and sage tea shared with world travelers while being entertained with traditional Bedouin Music and dancing then this place is for you.

By all accounts, this camp has better facilities than other camps in Wadi Rum. The owner, Attallah, is not particularly engaging unless you've signed up for his safari tour. I did another tour and camped here, and got one or two words out of him, not to mention paying a king's ransom for his mediocre dinner. The location of the camp is quite far in from the Rum Village; it is in a sunset point, but we didn't think it was a great location to observe the sunrise or sunset. Overall, this can be a good camp experience, but you should book his tour together to get treated well.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the Bedouin lifestyle. The service was great and safe. The location was absolutely beautiful. They offered package deals with tours in Wadi Run, which I highly recommend: The four-hour jeep tour was lots of fun! The bathrooms were very clean - remember to bring your own toiletries. Depending on the time of year, it can get cool at night. The comforters offered were very heavy and did the job! Looking forward to visiting again!

Bedouin Lifestyle Camp is a great way to experience the Wadi Rum desert. The overnight accommodation is priced appropriately for the type of experience this is. Don't think a hotel or even a motel; it's basic, stand-up tents, shared bathrooms, and simple meals. Being the desert, there is sand everywhere, but they keep things as clean as possible.

The bedouin experience is enjoyable. The prices were fair and the food was great. I would recommend this camp since we had a good experience. I have heard of many travelers getting hassled at the wadi run visitors center and ending up getting an expensive knock of of the bedouin camps. You can spend around 40JD and get a 3 hour jeep tour, dinner, camping, tea, music, and breakfast. Friendly staff.

If you're looking for as authentic a Bedouin adventure as you can get then this is the place for you. Atallah and his crew are amazingly hospitable and fun, cooking us a delightful dinner and throwing a dance party around a fire complete with Bedouin live music. Atallah is very professional and accommodating for his guests, arranging for jeep safaris and camel rides. We took up the option to sleep under the stars and it couldn't have been any better. Highly recommended from an individual who has lived all over the Middle East. Just remember to bring enough cash for the jeep ride and camel ride as well as breakfast and dinner! So worth it and at fantastic value, will most certainly bring future guests here when in Jordan.

Very amazing experience. Attallah and his crew were very friendly and helpful. Camping was so much fun and being under the stars with friends was awesome. We took the full day tour and it was the highlight of our trip. We got to climb tons of mountains, sand board, run around the desert.... it felt like we were kids again...will definitely go again!

We did not expect much, nor should one, for this kind of experience. The setting is stunning, and the tour which was arranged for us was amazing, with a wonderful guide. The owner himself is aloof when we met him and unfriendly. Had we met him before, we would have likely gone elsewhere. This was a first for us in Jordan. The " tents" were very much like a summer camp: old stained mattresses on metal cots with torn and sandy sheets. The washrooms were clean until they ran out of water . However, the experience iswell worth doing.

The service is really good & Attallah is very flexible with arrangements. The location is great & the views of the desert & surrounding mountains is perfect. I spent a week there & really enjoyed myself..The tent gets hot during the day(as one would expect in a hot desert)..The bed was comfortable & the room was as clean as could be in a sandy desert. They serve good food & the staff are really friendly & welcoming..I'd definitely stay there again.

This camp far exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful authentic experience of life in a Bedouin camp. The only reason I have not rated 5 for the cleanliiness of the room (which was a Bedouin tent) is that there had been a sandstorm shortly before and some sand had inevitably blown in, but it was minimal and the staff were apologetic (like you can organise Nature!) The hospitality was fantastic and we were made to feel like honoured guests. We did a 4WD tour and a camel trek which was individually tailored to our preferences and both were brilliant. The 24 hrs in the camp was one of the highlights of our trip to Jordan.

Camp has basic facilities - toilets and showers are shared between men and women - no hot water in showers. You have to take your towels, soap etc. Very simple breakfast. You need to be aware of the cost of all extra offers such as trips, dinner, etc

We did the jeep tour with Hliel. The places he should us were beautiful. He was full of energy. The camp is situated in the middle of nowhere and they really make all the effort to entertain guests. Atallah came for the evening with all guest in communal tent and made us all dance. The food was good considering that we are in a desert. Highly recommended experience.

The Bedouin Lifestyle Camp is not exactly about "comfort", but about romantic experience close to old traditions and strikingly beautiful nature. The services I got matched perfectly my expectations and what had been negotiated in the package. I strongly recommend the full day driving tour through the Wadi Rum desert and the Sleep under the Stars adventure.

Although the company is unorganized, the sites are certainly worth seeing. The experience is not very touristy, although there are showers and running toilets. They really push for day-long tours of Wadi Rum and not just a place to stay. Ultimately, well worth the money.

As a single woman, I was a bit nervous about traveling alone in Jordan, but I shouldn't have been. Bedouin Lifestyle had a taxi waiting for me at the bus terminal in Aqaba and it took me directly to Rum Village, where the owner of the camp met me and greeted me. I had chosen a 4 hour jeep tour, and it was a great way to see Wadi Rum. The driver spoke passable English and was very polite and kept trying to make jokes. The accommodations in camp were much better than I was expecting. The bathrooms were reasonably clean, which was a definite bonus. The food was very good, and they kept forcing tea on us till we were completely full. They also played Bedouin songs and everybody was getting into it and dancing. The tents were clean and comfortable. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. They drove me back to the village after breakfast and again had a taxi waiting for me. A very well run operation that I would recommend to anyone.

After considerable research, we chose to stay at Bedouin Lifestyle Camp. Attallah and his friends were the most welcoming hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. The desert is magical at full moon. Highly recommended.
