I always love returning to the Seaview. It's cozy, comfortable and elegant. That its truly Tongan enhances its charm. It's a wonderful place to stay for a night or longer. The staff are beautiful: Kind, generous and thoughtful.

The only good thing is the views from the room (if you get the sea view ones), the building and rooms are outdated and smelly. They have provided one little soap for the shower in 5 days - they try to cheap out. In addition, some of their staff have an arrogant attitude. For 200+ Euros a night, Won’t come back, better options available in Nuku.

We enjoyed our stay in Nuku’alofa because of the Seaview Lodge. Accommodations were great. The best thing about the property what’s the Customer Service we received. I would highly recommend anyone going to Tongatapu to stay at this establishment.

nice hotel with restaurant, good location in walking distance to the centre and very close to the royal palace; we've been upgraded to the suite, which was very nice - spacious, view to the ocean over the street from the big balcony, air-conditioning (in living room and twin bedroom, not in double room), kitchen (but not really equipped); the down side was the included breakfast - only two pieces of toasted bread an a tiny portion of butter and jam (but you can order something else for a surcharge); very nice staff, good wifi, airport transfers possible and convenient

We lived in Tonga 40 years ago and the Seaview was our go-to restaurant for special occasions. They now have accommodation as well so we booked here based on good reviews. The restaurant was still very good, but the accommodation left a lot to be desired. They advertise a “continental” breakfast as included, but apart from juice and coffee, all that you get is 2 slices of toast with butter and a meager quantity of jam. We paid extra for fruit salad, which was okay, but should have been included when we were paying over AU$400 per night. They give you two small bottles of water on arrival but no daily re-supply - again should be included. Our room (201) needs a lot of work - broken shower, loose toilet seat, badly cracked handbasin, safe not working, wardrobe door very hard to slide - bed was comfortable though.

The room was nice and clean and well appointed - however overpriced for the quality. The continental breakfast limited to toast and tea/coffee. Other hotels/resorts offer more such as fruit. Sitting area out the front was lovely. Bar open 7 days and the restaurant closed on Mondays/Tuesdays. Travel to and from the airport all overpriced in Nuku.

Great location, with an easy walk to the markets, and town. Reception staff were lovely and helpful. Rooms were small but comfortable. Restaurant was disappointing, with the complimentary breakfast being just toast, and they had limited options due to them 'running out', when we went there for dinner.
