Room wasn't ready when we arrived at almost 6pm, we were given the key, and the housekeeper was still making the bed. I had various coffees at the lobby bar, when I paid with card the server refused to give me a copy of the receipt,saying there is no copy. Surprisingly next day I had another coffee and I was given a copy without even ask, different server, very suspicious though

I recently stayed at Erboy Hotel and had a mixed experience overall. Pros: • The service was generally good, with staff being polite and helpful at the front desk. • The location is excellent — very central and convenient for exploring Istanbul’s main attractions. • The breakfast had a good variety of options and was a nice way to start the day. Cons: • Room cleaning could have been better. It felt like it wasn’t done thoroughly during the stay. • The hotel restaurant/room service was disappointing. The food didn’t match the menu description, and we were served (and charged for) a meal we didn’t order. The chicken was undercooked (pink inside), and when we tried to explain the issue, the staff didn’t understand due to a language barrier. When we raised it with reception, we were told it wasn’t their responsibility. • The single beds are quite small, which might not be comfortable for everyone. Overall: Erboy Hotel has a great location and decent service, but the restaurant experience and room upkeep fell short. If you’re staying here, it might be best to dine out and manage expectations when it comes to room service and cleaning.

My family of 4 stayed at this hotel in the family quadruple suite and we felt it was great. Good facilities, great staff and close to a lot of the main attractions and a tram station (Gulhame). Restaurant upstairs on the terrace is a good place to have dinner after a long day of exploring the sites! Highly recommend

The building is clean. Rooms are reasonably sized for Sultanahmet area. It is walking distance to Hagia Sofia and Sultanahmet as well as Eminönü and Egyptian Bazaar. Staff were a mixed bunch. One who checked us in was courteous, the rest were unhelpful and in fact downright rude. Breakfast was meh. They charged us for a water bottle. Given the many options available in the area I doubt I would stay here again.

Erboy Hotel, Istanbul This recently opened hotel boasts a convenient location and a generally clean environment. The restaurant service staff and room service personnel are commendable for their helpfulness. However, the reception and administrative staff exhibit the opposite attitude. Notably, guests who check in at night may be assigned the least desirable rooms (e.g., my room 401or the previous 502), with promises of a room change the next morning that are not honored. This practice reflects poorly on the hotel's reputation, as it contrasts with the customary practice in many hotels of upgrading a guest's room during their first visit to create a positive impression and encourage repeat business. Unfortunately, Erboy Hotel seems indifferent to the guest experience, particularly for those who book through third-party platforms like Expedia. In contrast, guests who pay in cash appear to receive superior service. Based on my experience, I will not be returning to Erboy Hotel in the future.

The hotel was okay, it was clean but the actual facility of bathroom were rather poorer then expected, shower too small, shower doors didn’t close properly, the door to the bathroom was made up off mirror in chipboard type frames and not pleasant. Very little storage for clothes. Breakfast was rather poor, very limited choice, it was very basic. Staff smoking on corridors, could spell it all the time. Not worth the price tag.
