Golden Age Crystal Bodrum - All inclusive

I booked a family suite which include 2 bedrooms( one with a double bed plus a single bed and the other bedroom with a twin bed) in that hotel for 9 days. I contacted the hotel and asked the to set up the twin beds as a double bed as my partner and I wanted to stay there but when we got to the hotel the twin beds haven’t been set up and still were separated! Our room was at the ground floor and the room balcony faced swimming pool, basically the room was next to crowded swimming pool so I went to reception to ask them to change our room but amazingly I notice the receptionist can’t speak English! She called another colleague who couldn’t speak or understand much English and he promised me to change our room in 24 hours and that never happened. The hotel location is 40min drive to central Bodrum and the main harbour so you definitely need to rent a car otherwise have to pay 280 to 300 Turkish lira anytime want to go to central as there is not much to see in Gumusluk( hotel location). The hotel layout and buildings are nice but unfortunately the hotel is not well maintained. Toilet flush frame in our room was broken as well as the shower head holder, however, I asked them to repair it, but this did not happen. The room service was a disaster and we have to go to the reception anytime we wanted clean towels or toilet paper, sometimes cleaner was coming at 3 or 4 pm to clean the room which I never seen somewhere else before!

If only they focused on the cleaning, the place it's self was good, but the rooms were never cleaned, the floors never mopped the bedding for a full week never changed, and the towels the same, it was very hot last week we needed clean towels had to request them, the ones left on the floor that are your indication that you want new ones were folded and put up again. There was adults there during the day but at night it was all teenagers and young very young adults running the hotel. I had emailed prior to booking enquiries made about vegan options assured there was a full menu that would carter for me there was not. There was less than minimal I had to purchase my own non dairy milk. When I spoke to the chef's and kitchen staff the just shrugged their shoulders no help with it given. The pool area was lovely, even if the music was blaring Just a bit on the too loud side. The setting is lovely, the beach area is lovely regular shuttle bus service on the hour it is a short walk also, but the rooms and lack of cleaning really let's the place down. There are no footpaths so you won't be going for any walks in the location. Local bus service was great very reliable it's 1hr from Bodrum town for 20lira. The gym while it had 4 treadmills only 1 was working when spoke to staff they just shrugged their shoulders said they didn't know.

Everything is perfect. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel where the staff are very friendly. The food is so delicious and there is a wide range of choices in the buffet. Special thanks for the manager Burak and all the staff.

I will never visit that hotel any more .. their services is so poor

At the reception desk you will find unprofessional workers. They only know how to deal with locals. Any issues that arise with foreigners are to be ignored not solved. Bring lots of cash because your foreign cards will not work. If you happened to forget something after check out you will not get it even though they will pledge to send it. The Manager of the hotel is the only professional problem solver but she is busy most of the time. She has a great personality also. I wish you goodluck!

This is a dated Hotel with very poor hygiene in all rooms and facilities. They don't clean the rooms on a regular basis unless you ask them and then you have to to ask also for changing the towels and the bed sheets as well. The only place which has acceptable level of cleanness is the restaurant. The Hotel guests are mainly East Europeans and Turkish people and it seems that their major concern is to eat and drink as much as possible. Hotel guests use the Pool late at nights until 2 AM with lots of screaming and shouting and are drunk and loud which makes your sleep a nightmare. We changed our room 3 times due to very poor conditions and when we complained to the Hotel Manager about the shouting and screaming in the Pool area, he said that it's because the guests drink too much. There is no Security staff to monitor and prevent this behaviour and it was very annoying during the nights as we couldn't sleep. In the Reception there are normally 2 staff members and only one of them can speak basic English which makes it very difficult. This Hotel is rated as a 4 Star Hotel, however with best intentions it should have 3 Stars. It's advertised as All Inclusive while in reality it should be considered as Full Board with Drinks. You can't have any food or snacks between Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner. We are not a fan of excessive eating/drinking but when we arrived just after 22:00 and asked for sandwich or snack,they told us the dinner is finished and we should wait until breakfast !

The food was ok fine but no mini bar in room and they not give me the room what I order, no water in room

The hotel room was disgusting. Furthermore, if you are a black person, you should definitely not go to this hotel. Even the people that work at the hotel will be looking at you like an animal in a zoo. Nothing was well organised and barely no one speaks English!

Bra ute områder og veldig god mat. Rommene er gamle og slitte. Dårlig med vask og renhold på Rommene.

Ein sehr sehr sehr schmutziges Hotel, ich habe mich noch nie so unwohl in einem Hotel gefühlt, die Toilette hat die ganze Nacht über laute geräusche gemacht, die Toilette war so dreckig, dass ich da nicht einmal Duschen wollte. Wir haben sogar einmal das Zimmer gewächselt. Sehr schade die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft schön aber das Hotel verliert an einiges. Schade

Hotel war in Ordnung. Mehr aber auch nicht. Service ok. Animation. Nichts. Sauberkeit des Zimmers. Nicht vorhanden. Ausstattung. Naja. Einzig gute war das Team von Serhat und Arap aus dem Shisha Bereich. Dank diesen Jungs war der Urlaub angenehm und schön. Ansonsten waren noch positiv anzusprechen, Ismailcan und Serhat vom Barkeeper Team. Rezeption War ok. Einzig aufmerksame Person, soweit ich mich erinnern kann Sude.

Odalar çok eski idi.Bakimsizdi.Voucerda odalarda cay kahve makinesi yaziyor.Yoktu .Soruldu yanlış yazılmış dendi. Odalarda TV ler bozuktu.Sordum ariza var dendi. Odalarda sadece 2 adet su verildi. Ancak voucerda odalarda su servisi yaziyor.Plajda verilen hizmet kotuydu. Havuzlar pisti. Genel olarak memnun kalmadım.Bir daha kalmam kimseye tavsiye etmem

Yemekler ve alkollu icecekler zayif onun disinda guzel.

Otel konum olarak çok güzeldi. Yemeklerden beklentimiz düşüktü oyüzden kötü gelmedi ama çok da iyi değildi. Odamız hergün temizlendi memnun kaldığımız bir tatil oldu

Personel güler yüzlü, kahvaltı ve yemekler gayet güzel, imkanlar geniş. Çevrenin ulaşım sorunu dışında tatilimizde otele dair hiçbir olumsuzluk yaşamadık.

Dårlig hygiejne på toiletterne overalt på hotellet . Slidte og gamle møbler. Maden var perfekt og rigtig god service.

Decisamente scarso come 4 stella , ma il personale stato molto gentile e disponibile . Nelle camere c’erano davvero non TV , ma monitore per pc se non peggio . Ottimo per famiglie con bambini.

Wir sind echt enttäuscht. Die Bilder entsprechen nicht der Wahrheit. Das Essen war Ok. Niemals würde ich für das Hotel vier Sterne vergeben.

It was all inclusive but snack bar, there's only hamburger and potato chips. And also very old rooms, far from beach.
