Hotel La Vista Azul

Just a note, this is not a highly accessible property. A lot of stairs, limited elevator access only on upper level. You can eat and eat, you won't gain weight staying here!

Great location. Simone’s is a MUST. Great local flavors with a great staff. Very affordable.

The hotel is very close to a quiet beach and at a quiet location. The staff were very accommodating. It is useful to either rent a car. Cab service can be pricey.

Room stay was as expected. It’s been years and I can’t believe they haven’t fixed the hot water situation in the showers in the room at the back of the property. The water gets hot at the faucets but can’t get pass cool in the shower and I absolutely hate that. The floors could’ve been mopped better as well as my feet got dirty after walking barefoot in the room.

Nothing exciting to say about this hotel.

The only issue I experienced with this hotel was that the water was not hot…. I’m not comfortable with cold showers otherwise the overall experience was epic!

My husband and I celebrated our 16th anniversary at this location. There were no working elevators, which meant we had to walk 11 flights of stairs just to get down to the first floor and of course back up once we were done for the day. The room we stayed in was ok, but I think the room they gave us was the room that they do laundry in. They were doing laundry in our room upon arrival and the day before we left someone knocked on our door to do more laundry while we were in the room resting.

This place was super amazing. The views were amazing. The restaurant was ok . 8 minutes away from the beach. Pool was clean and heated. The property was clean and pretty. Quiet area hotel staff are helpful. Gym was nice . Only con about this hotel is all the stairs you have to go up. No elevators

Overall, it was nice. I felt safe there and the hotel area was very pretty. Staff was awesome, super kind and went above and beyond. The rooms had an oven, microwave, stove, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and laundry washer and dryer in unit. Two pools and hot tub which were very clean and quiet. Cons: the bed was uncomfortable. My husband and I woke up with back aches each day. The shower water pressure was bad. No pan for the oven so we could not use it. Did not have dish soap or detergent for laundry/dishwasher. However the maid service was awesome and did our dishes and some laundry for us. We bought all the stuff at the store though. No paper towels or napkins or body wash. It did supply shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion though. As long as you bring those things from home you’ll be fine.
