Like to say all staff made the stay extra special. The hotel is located in an excellent location, less than 5 min walk to the Metro and less than 5 min walk to Gate Avenue Mall ( which has nice fine dining establishments and other dining options) and DIFC Business Center. Less than 5 min walk to Tim Hortons, Starbucks , Pharmacies that are open 24hr. There is a free shuttle that runs multiple times everyday to the Mall of Emirates. The Dubai Mall is only one metro station away.The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable bedding.

The location, cleanness, staff, and proximity to the metro station was great. My suit was spacious and had an amazing view. I highly recommend this hotel and will certainly consider re-booking it on my next trip to Dubai.

Rooms need work. TV is so outdated, no ability to play YouTube / Netflix etc. Shower was weak. Room was a good size but even though there was a kitchen in the suite, no cutlery or crockery was in any drawers or cabinets.

To whom it may concern, I wish to make a complaint about the room I received whilst staying at the Carlton Downtown, Dubai 23-27 February 2025. Upon arrival, I asked reception for a room with a view of the Burj Khalika and was told I could have one. When I went into the room, there was no view. I asked reception again and was assured that I would be moved the following day. The same thing happened every day and I was never moved, despite promises that I would be. I was eventually offered the possibility of one night in a room with a view but it was too late by then. I am really unhappy about this and it spoiled my stay. Thank you
