There was a weird sound all day that doesn’t let you sleep in peace, if you order anything from outside you should wear your clothes and get it from the lobby

Great location to visit Expo with metro station right outside. Staff helpful and room modern. But building works next door all day from 7am spoilt our visit so maybe avoid this location till next door is built!

For Expo 2020, you can't do much better than this. The Metro station is right outside, one stop away from the Expo, but if you want to go into the city, it's a longer ride. With the Expo ending, I would only recommend this hotel if you're doing business in the Investment Park or just want a cheap hotel, (though there are reasonable places closer to the city as well). The staff were extremely polite and treated me like a VIP, though they seemed somewhat inexperienced. I'm not sure how old this hotel is, but a little renovation work wouldn't hurt. It's minor things, like cracks in the molding and flickering lights that need replacing. The business center also had no ink or paper in its printer. Better ventilation for the smoking rooms is a must, as the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke, thankfully my room did not. My room was overall clean, large and comfortable. The breakfast was decent, a mix of Western, Indian and Arabian (so no pork bacon). There is also a dive bar and restaurant on site but it seemed to be always full of loud, drunk, smoking guests and their friends. Nevertheless the food was decent and was one of the only places nearby you could get an alcoholic beverage. If you didn't get dinner elsewhere before turning in, its certainly not the worst option. Overall, a mixed bag, with the proximity to the Expo being a major selling point, which is soon to be moot.

Good hotel Friendly staff

We had a great stay. The room was clean and the staff was very nice and friendly. The only thing that cought me off guard was the fee they took as soon as I went to check in. Because it was not mentioned online.

we stayed in this hotel last year and it was good It has gone downhill since then. I would not stay here again and would recommend no one else to stay.There are building works going on all around the hotel, and there is dust everywhere we went up to the pool on 2 days at around 9.30am. the notice on the pool door stated open every day from 8.00am but on both days it was locked. A total lack of service seems to be the order of the day. the rooms are very tired and need some work to bring them back to standard. I could see why the hotel seemed very empty. We chose this hotel to be near to family that live in Dubai but we will nt be returning to this hotel

It was good but had 2 breakfasts, and they would not let me bring a guest for breakfast. They said they would have to register the guest to my room.

This was my second stay, and the reason I came back was I had such a great experience on my first trip, but man was I in for a rude awakening on my second trip. The .Moroccan and Egyptian staff in the front desk were rude, very condescending, arguing with customers and not explaining things better. It was unfortunate coz the Indian and Filipino staff were so courteous. I will never stay there again.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay in Fortune, the only hassle I had was getting there, there is some construction going on in front of the hotel so for some reason Google maps was re routing me somewhere else...anyway...the hotel was pristine clean...staff were extremely professional and very courteous...i definitely recommend anybody to check in there and I am sure I will go back next time I'm in town....

The receptionist put me in a smoking room while I asked for non smoking and he said that he can spray air freshener but the smoke smell was unbearable. Very noisy due to kids playing and screaming during evening and night and construction noise from outside therefore you won’t have a good night sleep. They do not replenish the toiletries.

The location is very bad far from everything. Breakfast was poor .The Manager was so rude. He didn't care for customers complaints. He ignored our complaint about noises, he refused to change our stay although the hotel has 6 other branches in Dubai. I don't advise it to others

Bad experience, bad location and noisy also bad service with bad faces on reception.. pay 100 more and stay comfy.

I can't say my stay was amazing as I had issues with the reception staff, not very friendly and had restriction on the number of devices to be connected to wifi, very disappointing I must say. the location is just way off and quite expensive to book airport shuttle.

I had to change the room due to a terrible smell Second I had to pay an extra charge at the last moment. They said it was a new tax. They could not explain the tax and did not give me the adecuate recipe for the "tax"
